🏀💙 SENIORS ROUND 5 RECAP 💙🏀

The Panthers roared into Round 5 with a huge week on the court, claiming three wins from four games and continuing to build momentum as the winter season rolls on! 🐾🔥

Our A Men produced their best performance of the season so far, putting up an impressive 92–75 victory over Echoes Dark. The offence was firing, the ball movement was slick, and the scoreboard reflected a complete team effort. 👏🏀

The C Men made it back-to-back wins with a strong 40–29 result against Giants. Tough defence and consistent effort across the game helped secure another important victory. 💪

The B Women Blue side continued their outstanding form, taking care of Tigers 44–25. Week after week this group is showing great teamwork and confidence, and the results are following. 🔥

Our B Women White battled hard against a strong Bulldogs outfit and never stopped competing, showing plenty of determination throughout the contest.

A great week overall for the club with plenty of Panthers basketball to celebrate. Bring on Round 6! 💙🐾

🏀💙 JUNIORS ROUND 4 RECAP 💙🏀

What a fantastic week for our junior Panthers, with plenty of wins, big efforts, and exciting basketball right across the club!

Our U10s continued their outstanding start to the season, with the U10 Girls, U10 Boys White, and U10 Boys Blue all recording W's with another clean sweep of victories. The future is looking bright!

The U12 Boys B2 bounced back strongly with a convincing win, while the U12 Boys B1 battled hard in a very close contest that could have gone either way.

Our U14 Boys B1 put together one of their best performances of the season, securing a strong 54-38 victory over Echoes. 💪

The U18 Boys were impressive, recording a commanding 65-31 win over TBC Takers with great teamwork and intensity from start to finish. 🔥

There were also valuable lessons and plenty of determination shown by our U14 Boys B2 and U16 Boys B1, who kept competing hard against tough opposition.

Week after week it's fantastic to see our players developing their skills, supporting their teammates, and proudly representing the Panthers colours.

Keep up the great work, Panthers! Bring on Round 5! 🐾💙🏀

🏀💙 SENIORS ROUND 4 RECAP 💙🏀

Another entertaining night of Panthers basketball with some big performances across the board! 🐾🔥

Our C Men continued their strong form, grinding out a solid 51–39 win over Bulldogs with tough defence and great team basketball. 💪

The B Women Blue side were outstanding once again, powering past Echoes Light 46–15 in a dominant display from start to finish. Fast breaks, defensive pressure, and unselfish play had the Panthers rolling all night long.

A great effort as well from B Women White, who picked up a hard-earned 37–33 win over Echoes Dark in a close contest that went right down to the wire.

Our A Men battled hard against a strong Predators side and never stopped competing, while continuing to build combinations early in the season.

Four rounds in and the winter season is heating up nicely, with plenty of Panthers teams finding their rhythm! 💙🐾

📣 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A UNIFORM COORDINATOR! 🏀🐾

The Angaston Panthers Basketball Club is looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Uniform Coordinator for the upcoming seasons.

This role is a huge help to the club and keeps our Panthers looking sharp on game day!

What does the role involve?
🏀 Managing uniform distribution and returns (usually 2 times a year)
🏀 Keeping track of uniform stock and sizing
🏀 Helping players and families with uniform enquiries
🏀 Working alongside the committee and team managers

You don’t need previous experience, just good organisation skills, communication, and a willingness to help the club. Full support will be provided to help you settle into the role.

This is a great way to contribute to the Panthers community and support our players from the sidelines without needing to coach or referee.

🏀💙 JUNIORS ROUND 3 RECAP 💙🏀

Another fun-filled week for our junior Panthers, with plenty of effort, improvement, and exciting basketball across all grades!

Our U10 Girls and U10 Boys Blue continued their strong starts to the season, both coming away with impressive wins thanks to great teamwork and relentless energy.

The U12 Boys B2 also got the job done in a close one, grinding out a hard-fought 25–20 victory over Echoes Light.

Our U16 Boys B1 were huge this week, powering to a brilliant 63–42 win over Magic with fast ball movement and strong defence all game long.

Several teams found themselves in nail-biters, with the U14 Boys B2 falling just short in a competitive battle, while the U12 Boys B1 fought hard against a tough TBC Takers side.

The U14 Boys B1 had the bye this round, and our U18 Boys game postponed.

Week by week, it’s awesome seeing our Panthers grow in confidence, support each other, and represent the club proudly. Bring on Round 4! 💙🐾

🏀💙 SENIORS ROUND 3 RECAP 💙🏀

Round 3 brought plenty of positives for the Panthers, with some strong team performances and a couple of big wins lighting up the week!

Our A Men continued their solid start to the season, taking down Bubbagump Shrimps 50–39 with a composed four-quarter effort. Strong defence and smart ball movement helped the Panthers control the game and secure another win.

The C Men battled hard in a tight contest with TBC Takers, narrowly going down 27–22 after sticking in the fight right until the final buzzer.

Both of our B Women teams were outstanding this week! Panthers White picked up a great 32–16 win over Jug ‘O’ Norks, while Panthers Blue delivered a dominant defensive performance in a huge 49–10 victory over Echoes B Women.

Three wins from four games and some excellent basketball being played across the club… the Panthers are building nicely early in the winter season! 💙🐾

🏀💙 JUNIORS ROUND 2 RECAP 💙🏀

Another awesome week of junior basketball for the Panthers, with plenty of close games, big efforts, and smiles all around!

Our U10s had a fantastic night, with the U10 Girls, U10 Boys White, and U10 Boys Blue all getting the job done. Great teamwork, energy, and confidence building every week from our youngest Panthers!

The U12 Boys B1 side enjoyed their first win of the season, powering to a strong 62–36 win over Echoes Dark with some excellent passing and fast-paced play. Meanwhile, the U12 Boys B2 team fought out an absolute thriller, scoring the last bucket of the night for a nail-biting 16–15 victory over Magic Black.

Our U14 Boys B1 were incredibly unlucky, going down by just a single point in a tough 55–54 battle with Echoes Dark. The U14 Boys B2 also fought hard right to the end in another close contest.

The U16 Boys B1 game was postponed, while the U18 Boys enjoyed the bye this round.

It’s fantastic seeing all our junior Panthers continuing to grow in confidence, teamwork, and effort every single week. Bring on Round 3!

🏀💙 SENIORS ROUND 2 RECAP 💙🏀

Another big night of Panthers basketball in the books, with plenty of grit, hustle, and team-first play across the board!

Our A Men pushed Echoes Light all night, eventually falling just short in a hard-fought 58–62 contest. A great effort and plenty to build on heading deeper into the season.

The C Men got on the winners list with a strong 34–24 victory over Rim Reapers, combining solid defence with some great teamwork to grind out the result.

A massive performance from our B Women Blue, who lit up the scoreboard in a dominant 60–26 win over TBC Takers. Fast breaks, strong pressure, and unselfish basketball had the Panthers rolling all game long.

Our B Women White side kept battling right to the final buzzer against Cruisers, showing plenty of determination and effort throughout the night.

Only two rounds in and the winter season is already heating up!

🏀💙 SENIORS ROUND 1 RECAP 💙🏀

And just like that, the 2026 Winter Season is officially underway!

A strong opening night for the Panthers, with our A Men getting the season started the right way with a solid 69–51 win over Slashing Sigma. Great ball movement, strong defensive pressure, and a consistent four-quarter effort set the tone early.

Our B Women Blue side also hit the ground running, taking out the in-club matchup against Panthers White. Plenty of hustle and teamwork on display from both teams in a great way to kick off the season.

The C Men battled hard against Trojans and never stopped competing right to the final buzzer, while Panthers White kept fighting all game in the B Women clash.

Round 1 always shakes the rust off a little, but it was awesome to see our Panthers back out on court, supporting each other and playing with pride.

Thank you for every early morning, every late night, every car ride, every load of washing, every sideline cheer, every full drink bottle, and every snack packed before a game. Your love, support and encouragement help our Panther Cubs grow both on and off the court.

Today we celebrate you and all that you do for our players, teams and club community.
