Thanks for joining us in the beautiful Sunshine at Bethany Reserve today. Congratulations to everyone who bought a raffle ticket and won and well done to those who participated in running today.

The wait is over!!! Come and join us tomorrow at Bethany for some cross country fun.

Being a change of clothes, and maybe a towel, get ready to toast marshmallows by the fireplace, and see who will win the golden shoes!!

We have some amazingly delicious souls and treats available in our canteen at even more amazing prices.
Raffle prices are $2 or 3 for $5 for the kids raffle or you can take a chance on some choice local wines at our adults raffle with tickets at $10 or 3 for $20.

We can take csrd payments but cash is best to avoid extra fees and congestion so bring some of those coins that are lying around- can't wait to see you all there!!!

We are still needing volunteers to help out this Sunday for our Cross Country event at Bethany. Volunteers needed from 10:15am-1:15pm and all the jobs are very easy!!

We also would appreciate some more donations for raffle prizes; these can be any knick knacks or unused you have around the house or just pop over to the newsagents and get something on clearance- every cent we raise goes towards lowering our season fees!!

Our Cross Country Meet us being held this Sunday and we still need some volunteers for various roles but especially track marshals.

Without them the young athletes could go completely of course and potentially get lost. It's for a good cause and it's an easy job to do- please "put up your hand" and call Jim to discuss details: 0407052137

Do you know what a great long weekend activity is?

Searching through the shed, wardrobes, under beds, in the random shopping bag you tucked behind the jackets... and finding some donation goodies for our fund-raiser cross country!

Every cent raised from this event helps us keep our administration fees down- its also goes towards reducing the cost of uniforms, getting us better equipment, and stocking the canteen with delicious ice blocks for those hot summer evenings.

A reminder of things that are useful to donate:
Wine
Games
Toys
Books
Puzzles
Knick knacks

As long as they're in un-used condition it's worth donating!

Are you enjoying the rain? Or do you wish it would go away? It's preparing a fantastic Cross Country venue for us!!

Barossa Valley little athletics centre is hosting a round of the SALAA cross country season at Bethany Reserve on Sunday 14th June 2026!!
This is a great fundraiser for our club andhelps us keep our membership fees, and other costs, down so please try and help out in some way to lighten the load.

We need helpers between 10am and 1.15pm in the following roles- track marshalls, recording times at the finishing line onto recording sheets, helping at raffle table and with packing up at the end of the day.
Also assisting in the canteen between 9.45am until 12.30pm.

If you can help with any of the jobs on the day even if for a short while - please let Jim Ireland know either by phone 0407052137 or email him on [email protected]

Donating baked goods to be sold in canteen (plus an itemised list of ingredients to display)
Donation of items that can be used as raffle prizes: bottles of wine, board games, puzzles, any little knick nacks that you may have that are new and unopened that you no longer need etc.

Please drop off donations of baked goods and raffle prizes to Deb, 30 Maple Avenue Nuriootpa, anytime up until 5pm on Saturday 13th June.

Why should everyone go do Cross Country this weekend?

Another working week done!! If you're heading out this weekend, why not head out to Tatachilla for the Mid Coast hosted Cross Country Run!!
$5 entry fee on the day, a great opportunity to practice long distance running in the cooler weather, and a day out with family in our beautiful Australian countryside.
