The Netball SA Community Raffle is back for 2026, and we’d love your support!

By purchasing a ticket, you’re not only giving yourself the chance to win some fantastic prizes, but you’re also directly supporting Barossa District Netball Club. Every ticket sold helps fund the future of our club, from equipment and development opportunities to supporting our players and teams.

This week we celebrate 2 powerhouse women for our Wohlers Wonder Women of the week, Krysten Leslie and Teagan Cottrell.

Krysten Leslie has been part of our club for many years. This season, she put her hand up to coach our Senior 7s team and then generously took on coaching for Senior 6 as well when we were unable to secure another coach.

When she's not out on court playing, you'll often find her umpiring games or helping around the club wherever she can. Her commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to support our players and teams make a real difference to our club.

We’re starting to think Teagan Cottrell might secretly have more than 24 hours in her day… because we honestly don’t know how she does it all!

As our Junior Development Officer, Teagan kicked off the season by coordinating trials across all junior grades, spending countless hours sorting team allocations, securing coaches, answering questions, solving problems, and tackling the million little jobs that most people never see but that keep our club running smoothly.

Teagan continues to work tirelessly behind the scenes, organising coach development opportunities, supporting our Social Committee, helping plan club events like Ladies Night, and always looking for ways to make our club even better.

Whether she’s developing players, supporting coaches, organising events, or quietly getting things done in the background, Teagan is one of the driving forces behind Barossa District Netball Club.

We’re incredibly lucky to have you both at our club. Thank you for your passion, dedication, and willingness to always step up when needed.

📢 Wednesday Night Canteen is Here! 🍽️

We are pleased to advise that we will be opening the canteen on selected Wednesday nights during netball training.

We'll be offering a selection of dinner items to help satisfy those training-night hunger pains and take some of the dinner-time pressure off busy families.

The canteen will be open this Wednesday, 10 June 2026, with the following dinner options available:

🍴 This Week's Menu

🌭 Hot Dog & Chips Combo – $12
Includes a hot dog and a cup of chips.

🍟 Chips & Nuggets Combo – $12
Includes a tray of chips and 5 nuggets.

Or enjoy either meal with a can of soft drink for $15.
