Sea Otter Australia 2026 // 23-25 October

“Sea Otter Australia returns to Batemans Bay from 23-25 October 2026, with the Sea Otter Australia School Championships running on Thursday 22 October before the main festival opens. The event hub returns to Hanging Rock, while the broader programme again stretches into the Mogo trail network and beyond.”

When Sea Otter Australia finally landed in Batemans Bay last October, there was a fair bit of curiosity around what an Australian version of the long-running cycling festival would look like. Would it be another race weekend with a larger expo attached? Would the industry turn up? And, perhaps most....

Luke Tuckwell interview // La Vuelta

“I was riding up with a few a few guys at the end, and it was like… ‘If UAE were here pacing, the average power would have been 20-30 Watts more for everyone’, and you would have been going five minutes quicker on every climb.”

- Tuckwell talking about the change in the dynamic of racing after Tadej crashed out.

Wow..! An Aussie MTB World Champion

Bravo Connor!

"Managed to blow out the gap to about a minute ... it was awesome. I was really taking in that last lap with the crowd. It was a surreal moment coming to the finish with all my family here. It was crazy. It was something I'll never forget."

Rising star Connor Wright has further stamped his lofty potential by winning the junior cross-country Olympic (XCO) world championship in Val di Sole, Italy.

Ride In Ehime | Video series

“To anyone who is new to cycling and is looking for a good adventure, come here! To anyone who has ridden all their lives – like me, come here! To anyone who wants to just get an understanding of what joy can come from the act of pedalling, come here!”

If you like your cycling routes to be picturesque, traffic-free, and feature the smoothest bitumen you can possibly imagine, then the Ehime prefecture on the island of Shikoku should be on your list of holiday destinations.

The Ehime prefecture in Japan is not only an ideal destination for a cycling holiday, it is also encouraging cyclists to visit..!

“To anyone who is new to cycling and is looking for a good adventure, come here! To anyone who has ridden all their lives – like me, come here! To anyone who wants to just get an understanding of what joy can come from the act of pedalling, come here!”

My mid-ride summary suggests this part of Japan is perfect for cycling. My conclusion isn’t so much a recommendation, but a statement – and urging: Come here!

Women's Cycling. Sponsorship. Community. Racing. Excitement.

We talk to Kate Veronneau about Zwift's investment in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

“What we actually did was build the world’s largest women’s cycling community at the time. And that’s only grown, and that’s what really kicked off our efforts to see what else we could do to invite women into the sport, and to create events and space and community to motivate women in ways that they really haven’t been before.”
