🏉 2026 Queensland Country Rugby Union Championships – Colts Team Announcement 🏉

Sunshine Coast Rugby Union is proud to announce our 2026 Colts Representative Team selected to compete at the Queensland Country Rugby Union Championships in Townsville from 26–28 June 2026. The Championships will bring together the best country rugby talent from across Queensland for three days of high-quality representative rugby.

After a strong selection process and outstanding performances throughout the season, these young men have earned the opportunity to represent the Stingrays and our region on one of country rugby's biggest stages.

👏 Congratulations to all selected players, coaches and management.

Over the coming weeks, the squad will continue preparations as they work towards competing against the state's best and proudly wearing the Stingrays colours in Townsville.

We wish the entire team every success and know they will represent our club with pride, passion and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

This week we get to celebrate Tyler “Searlo” Searle as he makes his 100th A Grade appearance for the club.

Tyler has been a mainstay of the club having represented it in the junior ranks, and wearing the jersey in our senior squads for many years.

Having represented QLD Schools, Stingrays and QLD Country, Searlo has built his legacy on accurate setpiece and defensive efforts.

Like all Dolphins Tyler has given plenty off the field, being a conduit between club and players who join us from overseas, especially from NZ.

We appreciate what you have and will continue to do for our club.
