Calendars marked ? No, then get crackin' !!

It's now just under 60 days until the 11th Annual St Leonards Cricket Club-St Leonards Primary School Trivia Night.

Friday 30th October at the Cricket Rooms, $10 per head, games, auctions, fun, drinks at bar prices and some entertaining trivia as well.

Prize gathering is happening as we speak, so stand by and we'll give you regular updates on all the wonderful things you could win.

Will this be the one where willow triumphs over chalk ?

⭐️Thrilled to share this update!⭐️

A massive thank you to Portarlington Golf Club for their generous grant, which allowed us to completely refresh our clubrooms with brand new furniture for both our cricket club and Bellarine Sharks Soccer club!

Our old setup was well overdue for an upgrade, and these new additions have given the whole space a fresh, welcoming feel for our players, members, and community.

A big thankyou to Michael Brennan for all his work getting this grant secured for both clubs! 👏🏼

We are incredibly grateful for all the support! 💙💛

Two clubs working in harmony from the same rooms with some brand new furniture to show for it! The St Leonards Cricket Club and Bellarine Sharks soccer club are two great examples of how the Portarlington Golf Club ‘s community grants can benefit many in our district.

Huge congratulations to our very own Troy Griffin, who was last week named in the Barwon Zone "Team of the Year" for 2025-26, as adjudicated by the Victorian Country Cricket League.

And Troyza has three other BPCA players to keep him company, Lachlan Platt (Inverleigh), Jordan Graham (Jan Juc) and Dane Wise-Graham (Wallington).

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 2 RETURN AND 1 FRESH FACE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Big things are brewing for the upcoming season!! 💥🏏

Jacob is back for this third season with us! A great club person and without a doubt one of the most encouraging, tireless voices out in the field. Coming off a brilliant top score of 84 while opening for his local team Bingley Congregationals, we can’t wait to see more of that quality behind the stumps and in our batting line up!

Will also joins us for his third season from Robertsbridge CC! While he’s always up there in our leading wicket takers, we know he hasn’t even unleashed his full potential on Aussie soil yet! Oh, and an absolute gun in the field too, making the batsman think twice about taking a sneaky single!!

Ryan joins us from Everton CC as a seriously talented top order batsman and right-arm off spinner. He’s already having a monster summer back in England, boasting five 100’s this season alone and a staggering 5/7 bowling stint! Beyond his impact on the pitch, he has a strong passion for junior development and eager to help grow our next generation of players!

We’re super excited to have these guys apart of our next season! Exciting times to be a Saint! 💙💛

We are absolutely thrilled to officially announce the signing of David Hambrook for the 2026/27 season! 🎉

Joining us from Portarlington Cricket Club, ‘Hammer’ is a talented all-rounder who brings a wealth of BPCA, GCA, and coaching experience to the Saints.

The Hambrook family are already a huge part of our junior program. In fact, it was Hammer’s time coaching our Under 11’s last year that sparked his enthusiasm to officially make the move to the Saints! So it’s a welcome back to him and his family!

We’re super excited to have David, his wife Amy, daughter Daisy, and sons Ted and Louis around the club again next year! 💛💙
