As finals season approaches and tensions run high, a reminder: football is built on passion — but there’s no place for abuse.

Shouting at referees, fighting between supporters, and aggressive behaviour are driving people away from the game — especially young referees. This leads to fewer officials, disrupted matches, and a worse experience for everyone.

At the junior level, let’s keep perspective: these are kids playing for the love of the game. Parents and supporters should encourage, not intimidate.

Our actions don’t just affect us — they impact the whole club and the next generation watching from the sidelines.

Let’s create a safe, respectful environment and protect the future of football.

No excuse for abuse.

Following a fantastic turnout of 580 players last year, it's expected this year’s competition will be even bigger.

Competition Details:
📅 Wednesday nights from 5pm
📍 Howard Glover Reserve
🗓 21 October – 9 December 2026
⚽ U9–U16 Boys & Girls
🏆 7 weeks of league games + 1 week of finals
👥 7-a-side (teams of 10 recommended)
💰 $95 per player
