Gday All we are hosting two junior golf programs and then in February an adult women’s program.

School Holiday Programs;

Jan 12th & 13th, 10-11.30. Day 1 at the club, Day 2 at the Golf Lab.
Jan 19th & 20th, 10-11.30. Day 1 at the club, Day 2 at the Golf Lab.

Term 1 women’s program kicking off Tuesday Feb 3rd.

Today we had a 9 hole Green Keepers Revenge day. We had some ridiculous tee spots, stupid pin positions and heaps of obstacles. Good Fun with plenty of belly laughs. Thanks to all that played, great fun.

Today our oldest member and longest serving barman, since 1972, Chrissy DiCrescenzo celebrated his 92nd birthday. Congratulations Chrissy you are still playing golf at 92, a feat lots would like to achieve. You are a true gentleman and a great stalwart of the club. Today we had the honour of hosting two pennant finals. It was a great opportunity to show off our course and more importantly the hospitality and friendship we can provide. All golf was played well within the spirit of the game and thank you to the district for giving us this opportunity. A huge thank you to all the many members that turned up to mow the greens, rake bunkers, cook, run the bar and do the dishes. A big thanks to Milky who was our voice today, who introduced players to our course. Congrats to the winning teams, Lonsdale and Apollo Bay.

Friday Night Footy’s back at the G. Starting Friday 21st March come see the footy on the Big Screen at St Leonard’s Golf. Footy food and beers, friendly banter and fun. Eventually Membership Draws and raffles will start. Go Roos!

Today we celebrated Australia Day with a four person Ambrose. Thank you for all volunteers for preparing the course. Thank you to the ladies for cooking lunch, thank you to Marty for driving the drinks cart. A Huge thankyou to Darren from celebrations and Greg White from Whites Fisheries for their generous sponsorship. Nearest to pins where, Chris DeCrenszenzo, Jack Jenkins, Corey Stevens, Mark Howard, Claudia Hazell, and Diane Ludolff. Our Encouragement (last) award today was David Lawson, Kevin Wilson, John Marshall & Andy Lowther with 65 Nett. 5th - Ben Davis, Jason Pitt, Dean Gray & Liz Wilson with 56.875, 4th - Mick Hazell, Claudia Hazell, David Edwards & Scott Wentworth with 56 75, 3rd from a count back was Glen Ludolff, Diane Ludolff, Kieran McCool & Daryl Gabriel with 56.625, 2nd - Greg White, Jack Jenkins, Paul Fowler & Andrew Savage with 56.625 and our Winners were Tom Laursen, Matt Logan, Bernie Dumont & Corey Stevens with 55.
