The South West Rhinos are getting ready to take the field in the Sydney Blue Sox Slugger Series Western Rumble, and expressions of interest are now open.

This opportunity is being offered first to existing Rhinos players and RBI Academy players, giving our current community the first chance to step up, represent the Rhinos and be part of the opening event of the Slugger Series.

The Slugger Series is all about effort, sportsmanship, participation, development and fun, with young players getting more opportunities to compete, develop their skills and represent their team.

Open to girls aged 6–12, this is a great opportunity to learn, develop skills and enjoy the game with the Rhinos.

Program opportunities may include:
⚾ Wednesday night T-ball
⚾ Training every second Sunday
⚾ Tournament opportunities

The program will be led by Coach Steph Lewer, whose experience includes Women’s First Grade State League, NSW Country representation, and coaching with the Sydney Blue Sox Academy.

MAJORS TEAM RE-OPENED 🦏 REGISTER ASAP ⚾️

We have had a flood of late registrations for Greenies which has opened up the opportunity for a 3rd Majors and 3rd Minors team.

If you thought you missed out or if you have friends that want to play, REGISTER ASAP! If we can get 4-5 more players in each age we can build more teams.

Put it in your team chats, new Rhinos welcome. We are about opportunities for kids and this is the first of many for the kids this season.

The South West Rhinos are preparing for Greenies Cup 2026, and we’re now opening up Expressions of Interest to new Rhinos players.

We currently have teams planned across every age group, and we’re looking for a couple more players in each age group so we can aim to send two teams per age group.

This is a great opportunity to join the Rhinos, represent the club, and be part of a big tournament weekend this October.
