Please note that there are no tango classes over the Easter long weekend or on Easter Monday 6 April.

Our regular group classes resume from Wednesday 8 April:
-Gentle Tango Program 11am at Marino Community Hall
- Advanced Class 7pm, then Practica 8.30pm at Unley RSL

From Monday 13 April:
- Beginner Class 7pm, then Intermediate Class 8pm at Unley RSL

Thank you to everyone who attended our first MARINO MILONGA last night! We were thrilled to see you all dancing so elegantly to DJ Andrew's great music selection, with a beautiful warm spirit, energy and love for tango. Beyond the embraces of the dance-floor, we were treated to a stunning sunset blush across the sky, and a welcome cooler change to ease into the balmy evening.
It was wonderful to welcome some our Gentle Tango participants to their very first Milonga. We hope you enjoyed the event and meeting some more members of our tango community here in Adelaide! Also a warm welcome back to some of our old students who first started with Southern Cross Tango back in the days of our teaching on South Tce over 15 years ago! So great to see you all back dancing again!
Thank you to everyone for helping us pack up so efficiently at the end of the event, greatly appreciated! We will let you know when our next Marino Milonga will be held, stay tuned! Here is a little peak of the Gentle Tango Program running in Geelong, Victoria at the recent 'Having A Say' conference. The Gentle Tango program in Victoria is facilitated by teachers Pam & Richard Jarvis (Community Tango in Geelong/Southern Cross Tango) and their team, which continues to inspire across generations, supporting inclusion and participation, active ageing, fostering meaningful social connection, improved mobility, boosting mood and wellbeing and so much more, for all involved.
