🇦🇺 GOLD FOR AUSTRALIA! 🥇

What an incredible achievement! Australia’s five-woman team delivered outstanding performances across all four apparatus; vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor, to claim the nation’s first Commonwealth Games team gold medal since 2010. 💚💛

Their determination, teamwork and consistency are a reminder of what can be achieved through hard work and believing in one another.

Our centre will :

💙 Sprung Floor 💙

Did you know our sprung floor is made of many different panels, each with many springs underneath, manually connected by hand.

Today, we had many volunteers from our little community come in and help pull apart, clean, re-sand, connect, drill, vacuum, and place all the pieces back as the floor gets a lot of wear and tear over time and the joists come loose. With all the many recreation members that use this floor, you can imagine the wear and tear it can get.

This was an 8 hour job but we got there and now we all can have a well deserved rest. Huge thankyou to Coach Cameron and Brenton for leading our parent and athlete volunteers and for Chris’s Makita heavy duty vacuum which saved us a LOT of time in cleaning!

Now to sleep! 😴
