Ellenbrook speedway Mother’s Day 2026

Sunday we travelled an hour up the road for round 9.

Heat 1
Started P1 finished with the win.
Great racing with Brad Ludlow, side by side a few times but just enough pace in the car to hold him off.

Heat 2
Started P5 finished P3
Good finish to the race finishing right up Dads back side over the line.

Feature
Started P2 finished P3
Track was pretty much lock down on the curb. Got beaten by Brad off the start then dropped into 2nd most of the race, couple of little mistakes enough for Matt Bosveld to get trough. Then held on for 3rd.

Thanks to my wife Bec and my girls Aubree and Pippa for coming up and supporting on Mother’s Day.
Also big thanks to the family for showing up and supporting.

Heat win at Ellenbrook speedway.

So after stretching the family budget and testing the wife’s patience, we have the #46 Amod back together after our crash at Margs.
Ready for Round 9 at Ellenbrook speedway this Sunday, and also racing for nanna on Mother’s Day.
Nanna was a massive part of my life and massive supporter of my racing from day 1 as 13 year old.
Hopefully the car won’t get too many issues and get a solid result for Nanna

Massive shout out to Peter Cox for the effort to get the #46 impressive chassis straight again after a little altercation with the concrete wall.

Unfortunately prior comments means won’t we there for Kalgoorlie, but focus is now on the WA state title in May.

While the A mod is getting some major repairs, the b mod is getting some much needed attention, may even see some track time.
