A massive clash this week as we take on Salisbury Football Club with top spot on the line heading into the bye. Expecting a huge battle all day and we’ll need everyone there loud and backing the boys. 💪

ROUND 6

Tomorrow we take on the Portland Football Club. Only the A grade team will get a game in tomorrow get around the boys and come out and watch.

A special day for the club as we celebrate a massive milestone for Michael Baker, who runs out for his 200th game. An incredible achievement and a true testament to his commitment, loyalty and dedication to the Red and Blue over the years.

Get down to the ground and support Baker and the boys as we look to put together a big performance ❤️💙

This Saturday we celebrate a true legend of the Pooraka Football Club for his 200th game. Since his arrival at the Club in 2014, Michael Baker has been a consistent A grade performer who strives to be the best player he can and be a part of success. His consistency is demonstrated by the fact that every one of his 200 games has been at A grade level. Highly skilled, elite goal sense, competitive spirit combined with so many moments of brilliance is the legacy he will leave at this Club. His Pooraka CV puts him in rare company across our history.

A quick snapshot of Michael’s achievements:

2014: 3rd in Club B&F in debut year
2015: Club B&F, leading goalkicker, and Division 4 Team of the Year
2016: Appointed Club Vice-captain
2017: 3rd in Club B&F, leading goalkicker and Division 5 Team of the Year
2019: Leading goalkicker
2020: Club B&F and leading goalkicker
2021: Premiership player and Division 5 Team of the Year
2023: 3rd in Club B&F
2024: runner up in Club B&F
2025: Leading goal kicker, 3rd in Club B&F

We hope to see a big crew out this Saturday to celebrate this milestone and hope the boys can make it a memorable occasion for Bakes, his family and friends.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our 2026 Ladies Day & White Ribbon fundraiser raised a total of $2250 for the White Ribbon Foundation. 🤍🖤

On behalf of everyone at the Pooraka Football Club, thank you to every single person who donated, attended, supported and contributed to the day. Whether it was through donations, raffle prizes, volunteering your time or simply showing up to support the cause, every contribution made a difference.

A special thank you again to our guest speakers, council members, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who helped make the event such a success.

The support from our community was amazing to see and we are so grateful to be able to give back to such an important cause.

The Bulls are back and ready to fire after a massive performance last week  The group is looking strong and ready to put it all on the line this weekend as we head to take on Greenacres at Edward Smith Reserve.

What an incredible day at the Pooraka Football Club for our Ladies Day & White Ribbon fundraiser. 🤍🖤

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support such an important cause, dressed up, donated, shared conversations and helped make the day so special. The support from our community was truly overwhelming.

We would also like to sincerely thank all of our guest speakers and council members who took the time to join us and be part of the day. Your words, support and presence meant so much to our club and everyone in attendance.

To all of our volunteers, players, supporters and sponsors — thank you for helping create such a successful and memorable event.

We are incredibly grateful for the support shown throughout the day, and we will share the total funds raised in the coming days.

It’s a massive day at the Bulls Home Ground this weekend as we take on Round 4!

We’re also proud to officially open our brand new canteen facility — a great addition for our club and community, and we can’t wait for everyone to check it out across the day.

💐 Ladies Day kicks off from 12PM, so get your crew together and dress up in your black and white attire in support of our White Ribbon Foundation fundraiser. We’re looking forward to a fantastic afternoon at the footy while supporting a very important cause.

Big games, great atmosphere, good food and a huge day around the club — we’re looking forward to seeing everyone down at the ground supporting all grades.
