Its been a few days now, but unfortunately our fairy tale story didnt get the ending we wanted... 😭

The girls went down to lockleys by 28 points, but what a season it has been!

Made finals and host a final ✅️
Won the elimination final ✅️
Won the Preliminary final ✅️
Made our first ever grand final ✅️

This group is something special and we know that there is more in this group!

Onwards to 2027 🤍💚🐶

It all comes down to this. The big dance!

Saturday, 10:00am at Carol Martin Reserve our women's team play their first ever grand final and Lockleys.

Winner takes all. There is no tomorrow. Leave it all out there!

Get on down there and cheer on the girls as they attempt to make another piece of history!

Entry is $15 for adults, $5 for concession, children under 15 free.

ON TO THE BIG DANCE! 😍

Saturday the women's team travelled down to Payneham Oval to battle West Croydon for a spot in the Grand final.

The girls started off on fire, kicking 2.2 to 0.1 in the first quarter, before another 1.2 in the 2nd quarter put us up by 14 points at half time!

West croydon managed to hold us to a point in the 3rd, but could score themselves in a slug of a quarter, before a frantic last where they kicked 1.4 to 0.0...

But the girls held on after a strong start to cement their spot in their FIRST GRAND FINAL EVER!

Jobs not done, there is still history to be made!

It's offical!

This saturday we will be playing West Croydon at Payneham Oval in the Preliminary final!

Winner plays Lockleys in the Grand final, so we hope to see as much Green and White down there as possible!!

Game time - 10am!

On saturday, the women hosted Para Hills in the Elimination Final and walked away with the W!

A blistering first half that saw us up 4.0 to 1.3 heading into the main break and all the momentum.

In the second half, the Roos girls came out fired up, and in a real back and forth effort, we held on to win 4.6 to 3.5, bookig our place in the Preliminary Final against West Croydon!

Our women are hosting the division 6 elimination final this Saturday at 3:15pm against Para Hills.

Always a hot and heavy contest between these two, come on down and support the girls as they look to move onto the preliminary final!
