𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

We’re excited to announce the appointment of 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 as 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 of Ingle Farm District Cricket Club.

After a thorough process, we set out to find the right person, and we’re extremely confident we’ve found him.

Caff has spent years developing and refining his coaching craft through the Barossa league, South Australian Indigenous pathway programs, and the Tea Tree Gully junior system. His passion for player development, strong cricket knowledge, and a fresh approach to coaching made him the standout candidate.

Many will remember Jamie from his time at Ingle Farm during the 2017/18 season, where he showcased his talents as a genuine all-rounder cricketer, contributing with the bat, ball, and behind the stumps.

Now, he returns in a new role bringing a clear vision for the future, a commitment to building success, and a coaching style that will challenge, develop, and inspire our playing group.

Please join us in welcoming Jamie back to the Farm and let’s all get behind him as we embark on an exciting new chapter together.

We would also like to extend a warm welcome back to his family - Melissa, Mitchell, Callum and Jakob.

We’ll be honest - we’ve advertised before and haven’t found our person yet. We’d rather keep searching for the right fit than settle.

We’ve listened and reflected - deliberately tailoring this role to be training focused (Tuesday & Thursdays).
We understand time is one of the biggest barriers to life these days, so we’ve structured this to be as manageable as possible, with no unrealistic expectations.

We have a strong player base, great facilities, and a club that genuinely supports its coaches. We just need the right person to lead our training nights and develop our players.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 -
Due to ongoing work commitments, and with the club needing clarity moving forward, it has been mutually agreed that Luke Pickford will step down as Head Coach of the Ingle Farm District Cricket Club.

Over the past two seasons, Pickers has played a massive role in shaping where we are today and where we’re headed - back into A1 with a stronger & more united club culture.

His passion, energy, resilience, and willingness to wear multiple hats has been first class.

Family, work, and health come first - and we know this decision will allow him to enjoy his cricket and continue to thrive on the field for us.

We can’t thank Luke enough for everything he’s given to the role and the club. His impact has been significant, and we are incredibly grateful.

As we step back into A1, the club is in a strong position to keep building.

We’re not here to make up the numbers - we’re here to compete, develop, stick together, and win games of cricket.

The search for our next Head Coach will begin very shortly.

A huge congratulations to Allen Kunde on being awarded Life Membership of our great club on Friday night.

Surrounded by family and friends, it was a fitting celebration for a truly well deserved honour.

Presentation Night was held on Friday Pavilion at Prospect and it was first class.
