The Piallamore Recreation Reserve (355) Committee was formed and accepted by the Tamworth Regional Council on the 16th July 2013.

Courts are booked this afternoon from 4 pm for a private function.
It’s a very welcoming place so don’t forget for your next gathering book and enjoy the ambiance of our recreation reserve.

🎉 WHAT A NIGHT! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Piallamore Recreation Reserve Trivia Night on Saturday!

We had a full house, loads of laughs, plenty of friendly competition and some seriously impressive (and sometimes questionable 😂) trivia knowledge!

A HUGE thank you to Erica and Wendy for the amazing job they did organising the night. So much work goes on behind the scenes to put an event like this together, and you both absolutely nailed it! 👏❤️

It was fantastic to see the Piallamore community come together for such a fun night and support our Recreation Reserve.

Thank you to everyone who attended, helped out, donated, supported the night and made it such a success. We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Boys have had plenty to do each Wednesday.

New toilet pans and tiles in the old block.

Repairing small engines.

Renovating the kids cubby.

Installed a set of old scales for display that we think came from the Nemingha railway siding. Most people are probably not aware of the huge amount of produce that was shipped from there before trucks took over. Most of it bound for Sydney, hay would have been in great demand to feed all the horses late 1800’s plus vegetables and grain.

Big pot of tea is on at 9.30 each Wednesday if you want to pop in and have a yarn.

In memory of Barb Mauritzen from Woolomin who walked through the entrance on many occasion to visit our book exchange.

To all that new her……. watch as the two white wisteria’s grow along the front fence matching up with the existing purple ones at the front gate.

Our Book exchange on the school house verandah is well supported and appreciated by many.
Today we received this envelope with a $50 donation from a local I have never met but who obviously enjoyed the ambiance of our reserve and little book exchange.
We will invest the money into more plants to honour her love of our area,
with gratitude to Barb and her family.

Shout out for Davidson Bros Electrical.
Voluntary organisations like ours can always do with professional service help like that provided to us by DBE.
It is mandatory for PRR to have all its electrical appliances tested and tagged and we have quite a few.
So it’s very much appreciated when DBE supply the service each year saving us dollars we need to raise and helping keep all the users of the reserve safe.
