Tamworth Clay Target Club Venue for clay target shooting in Northern NSW , Australia The club has committed heavily into the future with the purchase of new guns for the public to use .

Established in the early 1960's and moving to the current grounds in Loomberah in 1977, Tamworth Clay Target Club is a medium sized club and has most of the disciplines available to those wishing to participate in the sport of Clay Target Shooting. The Club has a good history of producing world class shooters with history showing that 3 different Olympians have represented Australia over the last

16 years. The Tamworth grounds are regarded as one of the best grounds in Australia to shoot at the national records for both DTL and s***t have been set at the Tamworth Club. We have had many state and national champions throughout the years, and our affiliation with local school and the nurturing of the junior talent will hopefully ensure that the tradition of producing talented local shooters continues into the future. We have just completed the installation of the 7th trap layout along with the current 4 s***t layouts, a ball trap and the equipment to set up 5 stand shooting makes for a complex that caters to most shooters needs.

Yesterday saw the club hold its monthly shoot, with 25 shooters attending. The weather was kind, with the sun out making for a great day on the range.

We again thank all those that travelled from near and far to join us, along with our new members and juniors from our coaching program who are now stepping into competition—great to see the continued growth in our club.

This month the Overall High Gun was awarded to Amanda Farr, taking home one of the famous High Gun beer mugs.

The Junior High Gun resulted in a tie between Jesse Crosby and Tai Hamilton, with both receiving gift vouchers proudly sponsored by Tamworth Fi****ms
