We were lucky enough for the sun to make an appearance on Saturday and held 2 events, with Rimfire Benchrest at 9:30am and 11 shooters taking place at the benches! Congrats Peter Barnier on a well shot 1530, taking the win!
The NRL22 June COF was conducted in the afternoon with 12 attendees, with some travelling from Coffs Harbour and Armidale. Congrats on category winners:
Open: Jack gerdes
Base: Hugh Lackie
Young Guns: Harry Rice
Ladies: Jess Hancock

Next on the calendar is a Working Bee on June 27th in the AM followed by 600m F-class. All are welcome!

We’re hoping to set up the targets prior to benchrest, so people who are new to the discipline can have a play with the steel targets between matches if desired

The TPVRC Loomberah Range will be closed tomorrow, 30th of May 2026, due to poor conditions. We are enjoying the much-needed rain, but hope conditions improve for next Saturday.

We had a nice turnout today of 10 shooters for our very first official NRL22 match. Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to come out and all who helped out! We’re looking forward to the next match- stay posted for details. Shoutout to Coffs Harbour Rifle Club for the lend of some equipment! And Jake Buckley for coming from Coffs to help out!!

The TPVRC crew are back from the Spring Ridge Rifle Club OPM held on Sunday and by all reports it was another extreamly well run and well supported OPM. The TPVRC team came home with big smiles and some awsome results. Blair and Cal Orman came second and third respectively in FOpen after a shoot off with Greg Carson from Armidale Rifle Club they all scored 180.22 and a 2 sighter, 5 shot decider was needed, with Greg taking the honours. TPVRC member Peter Barnier was hot on their heals coming in 5th with -180.15. In PCOpen Jim Rushborrk had a second and a first in two of his details and Jess Hancock a third place in her first detail in PC.👏👍
