🏐 Court Safety Reminder From FNA 🏐
We’d like to remind all members and spectators of our court safety requirements.
For the safety of everyone, the following are not permitted between courts or on the green court surfaces:
🚫 Prams
🚫 Chairs
🚫 Trolleys
🚫 Scooters & bikes
🚫 Dogs
These requirements form part of our Association’s Risk Management Plan and are in place to provide a safe environment for all players, officials, volunteers and spectators.
We also strongly encourage members not to bring dogs to game day. Unfortunately, we have experienced incidents where people have tripped over dogs, and on one occasion this season a dog became startled when someone ran past, resulting in a person being bitten.
In addition, our volunteers have been left to clean up after dogs when owners have not been monitoring them closely enough. Sadly, this has even occurred on the court surfaces. Our volunteers generously give their time each week to support our Association, and we ask that they are not placed in the position of cleaning up after pets.
We understand that many members enjoy bringing their dogs along, but the safety, cleanliness and enjoyment of our venue must come first.
