🏉💚💛🖤 YEAR 6 – THE FINAL YEAR 🖤💛💚

And just like that… the final year for our year 6s has come to an end🥹🏉

For many of these boys, their journey with the Lesmurdie Saints began back in Auskick, and what a journey it has been! From those little Auskick kids learning to kick and handball, to the young men they are today — we couldn’t be prouder of how far they have come.

They’ve shared countless games, wins, losses, early mornings, muddy fields, big kicks, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, friendships and memories that they will carry with them.

To our Year 6 boys — thank you for everything you have given to the Saints. You have been a wonderful part of our club, and we hope you look back on your time here with pride and a big smile. 💚💛🖤

As you head into Year 7 and beyond, we wish every one of you the very best for your football journey. Whether you continue playing together or choose different clubs and different paths, we hope you continue to love the game, enjoy the friendships and always remember where it all began. 🏉❤️

A huge thank you to all the parents, families, coaches and volunteers who have supported these boys along the way. It truly takes a village, and these kids have been lucky to have so many people cheering them on. 👏

What a fantastic way to finish off our Auskick season! 💚💛🖤

The sun was shining, the footy was flying and our little Saints had an absolute ball out on the oval! ☀️🏉 It was a brilliant day filled with plenty of smiles, fun, skills and, of course, lots of footy!

A huge thank you to all our Auskickers, families, coaches and volunteers for making this season so special. We’ve loved watching our little Saints learn, grow and enjoy the game each week. ❤️

💚💛🖤 ROUND 14 – RHYS KAMPEN ROUND 🖤💛💚

What a special and memorable day for the Lesmurdie Saints Junior Football Club as we came together to celebrate the life and legacy of Rhys Kampen. ❤️

The Saints Committee, players and families would like to extend a very special thank you to Peter and Cherly Kampen for joining us and supporting this important event. It meant so much to have the Kampen family there with us.

We were also incredibly honoured to have our Life Members present to select the Rhys Kampen Round Award winners:

Thanks to the incredible support from our Saints community, we are so proud to announce that $750 from our canteen proceeds will be donated to the Heart Foundation in honour of Rhys.

A huge shout-out and thank you to Swansea Butchers, Jingilli Olive Oil and Fergonfly Estate for their incredibly generous donations of gifts for the Kampen family and our Life Members. Your support helped make the day even more special. 💚💛

It truly was a fantastic day, filled with friendship, community and plenty of proud Saints moments.

We are so proud to have been a part of this special event and to continue honouring Rhys’ memory together as a club. ❤️

This Saturday, we come together for our Rhys Kampen Round, supporting a cause close to our hearts. 💛

This round is very special to the Saints as we honour the memory of Rhys Kampen and raise vital funds for the Heart Research Institute HRI – an internationally recognised organisation conducting groundbreaking cardiovascular research.

💚🖤💛 Round 13 - Year 6 💛💚🖤

🥶🌧️ Saturday brought some horrible, wet, muddy and freezing conditions for our Year 6 boys! Definitely one of those days where everyone was looking forward to getting warm afterwards! 🥶

While the result didn’t go our way, the boys once again showed what our Saints are all about — sticking together, working hard for each other and never giving up. 💪🏉

There were plenty of tough contests and some fantastic effort across the field. We couldn’t come away with the win, but the boys should be proud of the way they continued to work together right until the final siren. 👏

💚💛 🖤 Round 13 - YEAR 3 💛💚🖤

🥶🌧️ It was a cold, wet and very wintery game on Saturday , with the kids struggling to stay warm — red noses and frozen fingers all around! 🥶

Despite the chilly conditions, the Year 3s really gelled together and did a fantastic job of keeping the ball moving in our direction. When we have our full team on the field, these kids are a tough team to beat, and today was no exception! 💪🏉

The boys put on an impressive 13 goals and came away with a well-deserved win! 👏🔥

A huge thank you to Josh Treacy, Luke Ryan , Brennan Cox and Bailey Banfield from the Fremantle Dockers for joining us at training tonight! 💜🤍

It was an incredible experience for our junior players to meet AFL stars, learn from them, and share in their passion for the game. We truly appreciate you taking the time to visit our club and inspire the next generation of footballers.

A big thank you also goes to all of our amazing parents for lending a hand throughout the evening and helping make the night run so smoothly. Your support behind the scenes never goes unnoticed.

And finally, thank you to all of our Saints players who came along with great energy, enthusiasm and big smiles. We hope you all had a fantastic night and created some memories you’ll never forget!
