🧡 MARATHON FOR MUM 🧡

Ben Smyth is taking on an incredible challenge — running a marathon around our very own Numurkah Football Netball Club ground to raise funds for the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation, in honour of his beautiful mum, Kim Smyth, who tragically lost her battle with cancer in September 2024.

Kim was a much-loved and respected member of our Numurkah FNC family 💙🤍

Kim gave so much to our club, and now Ben is taking on this incredible challenge to honour her memory and help raise vital funds for such an important cause.

We’d love to see our Blues family get behind Ben and show him the support he deserves as he takes on the marathon right here at home 🧡

🔵⚪ SENIOR COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2027 🔵⚪

The Numurkah Football Netball Club is excited to announce Jamason Daniels as our Senior Coach for the 2027 season.

Jamo brings a wealth of coaching experience to the role, having previously coached Numurkah FNC in 2023 and 2024.

In 2025, Jamo took on a Development Coach role with Footscray, helping the club to a VFL Premiership.

Joining Jamo in the coaching team for 2027 will be Zach McKeown and Ben Smyth as on-field Assistant Coaches, with Brad Dobson joining the team in an off-field coaching role.

Numurkah FNC President Geoff Hopkins said:

“It’s exciting to have Jamo back as our Senior Coach for 2027. He will be supported well by Zach, Ben and Brad.

“We would also like to thank and congratulate our outgoing coaches from the past two seasons, Chris O’Dwyer, Jordan O’Dwyer and Tim Arnel, for their commitment and contribution to the club.”

We look forward to welcoming Jamo and the coaching team back to the club and building towards a successful 2027 season.

What a weekend — and what a season it has been for our Blues!

On Saturday, our A Grade Girls and Reserves headed to Moama for their 1st Elimination Finals. Unfortunately, both teams went down, but we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, commitment and fight they have shown throughout the season.

Congupna 9.14.68 def. Numurkah 8.4.52

Yesterday, our Seniors faced Nathalia in the 2nd Elimination Final. It was a tough, close and very up-and-down contest, with Nathalia eventually coming away with the win.

Our 13 & Under SNA girls are still flying the Blues flag and will play off in their Grand Final this Saturday, 5th September at the SNA Courts in Shepparton at 12:30pm on Court 1.

It would be fantastic to see a big crowd of Blues supporters there cheering the girls on! 📣💙🤍

And we have one last hurrah for 2026…
