Some government restrictions have been further eased from 11:59pm 21 June, however some restrictions have remained in place.
To use a Council facility, all users must:
§ comply with government restricted activity directions
§ comply with all additional guidelines provided by their governing body or sporting association

As a reminder:
§ Recommence use of Council buildings Guidelines and Checklist – to be completed by all users prior to each, refer attached (to be retained by the user)
§ Any person entering the venue must provide their contact details, including full name and telephone number, to assist in rapid tracing, refer attached (to be retained by the user)
§ Signs, as provided and attached, to be displayed at the facility
§ Density requirements apply, also known as the four square metre rule, in addition to the limit on total people
§ Appropriate physical distancing rules to be observed by keeping at least 1.5 metres from other people at all times
§ Practise good hygiene
§ Stay at home if unwell
Of importance to note:
§ Halls - the number of people allowed remains at no more than 20 in each separate space at any one time (density requirements apply)
§ Recreation Reserves – clubrooms at sport venues can have up to 20 people per indoor space (density requirements apply)
§ Indoor sport and recreation activities can resume, with a maximum of 20 people per space or zone, and with up to 10 people per group class (density requirements apply)
§ Indoor gyms can open with up to 20 people allowed per space, subject to the four square metre rule, with up to 10 people per group activity or class and participants must remain at least 1.5 metres apart (density requirements apply)
§ Showers and change facilities as can now be used, cleaning increased as appropriate.
§ Toilets, showers and change facilities must be cleaned thoroughly by the user group after use. Antibacterial liquid soap and paper towel is to be made available for use in the toilet. Disinfectant is to be used for cleaning, disposable gloves and face masks to be worn when undertaking cleaning. Showers, basins, tapware, toilets, urinals must be sanitised as well as door handles wiped with disinfectant. All rubbish to be disposed of responsibly after use.
§ User should abide by measures in place to limit close contact between users, floor markings should be used to promote physical distancing.
§ In any sporting facility where a restaurant, canteen or cafe is operated, the government restrictions on restaurants and cafes must be adhered to – in respect to serving food and alcohol
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they are aware of and comply with current government restrictions.
