🙌 DYLAN ‘BIGGS’ BIGNELL - 50 (51) GAMES 🙌
Milestone #2 for the 2026 season👏
Biggs joined BOSFC in 2023 and had an immediate impact in our Reserves team.
In his first year with the Hounds, he earned a call up to our A Grade team later in the season.
A smart and skilful footballer, capable of playing in a range of rolls and positions, Biggs has become a reliable performer at A Grade level. Whether it’s on a wing, providing the link between our defensive and forward 50s, rotating through the midfield, or playing as a mobile forward, Biggs always finds a way to get involved and make an important contribution. His decision making, and disposal are also strengths.
Off the field, his contributions are just as important.
Now in his fourth season with BOSFC, Biggs has recruited a significant number of other players to the club.
For the past couple of season, he’s also made an extremely valuable and greatly appreciated effort through his work watching our games and collating individual player stats. This resource, thanks to the many hours Biggs volunteers to produce it, is invaluable to our coaches and his fellow players.
On top of all this, over the past year or so, Biggs has also been the driving force behind the establishment of the Blackfriars Old Scholars Cricket Club in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association competition.
Despite achieving all this (before turning 23!) Biggs remains a modest character, so much so that when one of our over-worked volunteers missed marking his milestone game last weekend, the ever-humble Biggs’ response to a sincere apology was: “That’s ok. It’s not important.” We disagree Biggs! It is important and you are a very important part of BOSFC, now and into the future.
All the best for your belated milestone celebrations in front of Saturday’s ‘Ladies Day’ home crowd🖤💙
