The Prospect District Cricket Club is saddened to hear the news of the great Sir Garfield Sobers passing.

The legendary figure had 45 innings for the Prospect District Cricket Club with an average of 41.3 and took 104 wickets with an average of 13.55.

The Prospect Club can feel proud of the part it played in bringing Garry Sobers to the South Australian cricket scene. His legacy will not be forgotten.

Congratulations to our 25/26 Junior SACA award winners!

Ben Stargatt had a fantastic season with the bat, leading the U17 competition for runs scored. Ben opened the batting every game and was not out in 2 of his 9 innings. His season included 2 x 50s (one innings was 93) and a fantastic century achieving an aggregate of 387 with an average of 55.3. Congratulations Ben!

Leo Carter also had an excellent season, leading the U14 competition for batting. Leo batted in the top order all season and was not out once in his 11 innings. Leo scored 4 x 50s (one innings was 97). Leo’s season aggregate was 413 with an average of 41.3. Congratulations Leo!

Club Coach Jonathan Hall
Jonathan is an ECB Lvl 3 coach who is over for the winter assisting in the development of all of our players and coaches.
He has many years experience both in the UK and overseas in high performance environments. He has worked with numerous players who have gone on to play professional cricket in the UK and overseas at both domestic and national levels

1st Grade Coach Sam Ellicott
Sam is a past premiership player with the Club and PDCC life member having scored over 6,200 runs during his playing career. Sam has gained significant and valuable coaching experience in several successful elite and junior programs over the past 15 years. Welcome to the coaching ranks Sam!

2nd Grade Coach Peter Ellis
Peter continues in his role having joined the club as 2nd Grade Coach in 25/26 where he successfully developed our emerging playing group with seven making their 1st Grade debut during the season. Great to have you back Pete!

Specialist Spin Coach Peter Schenscher
We welcome back Peter who continues in his role as Specialist Spin Coach. Peter is a past player and State representative and takes great satisfaction from developing our talented spin bowlers in both the Senior and Junior teams.
