A beautiful day of Harinam, prasādam distribution and sharing the wisdom of Bhakti Yoga with our local community.

We love bringing Bhakti beyond the ashram and into the heart of the community — sharing free blessed food, spiritual books, uplifting Kirtan and joyful connection with everyone we meet.

Every plate of prasādam, every book shared and every Holy Name sung is an offering of love. 💛

Take shelter of the union within separation.

We hanker for love.
We search for pleasure.
Yet in the material world, we experience only fragments — reflections of something whole.

Under the spell of maya-shakti, illusion casts her charming net, convincing us that temporary things will satisfy an eternal longing.

But the longing itself is sacred.

Through the process of Bhakti Yoga, we gradually awaken to our original identity — not as isolated enjoyers, but as eternal servants in loving relationship with Radha and Krishna.

Separation in this world reminds us of our true union.
The ache points toward the Absolute.
The heart remembers what the mind has forgotten.

When devotion becomes the path, illusion loosens its grip,
and love is no longer something we chase —
it becomes something we are connected to eternally.

After two beautiful years of service, connection, kirtan, conversations, tears, laughter and countless plates of prasadam… tomorrow we close the doors of Vedic Vegetarian at 76 Cullen Street, Nimbin.

This space has served its purpose in the community. It has been a place of nourishment — not just for the body, but for the heart and soul. And now, like all living things, it evolves.

We are deeply grateful for every single person who walked through these doors.
To those who volunteered, donated, cooked, cleaned, sang, prayed, supported and believed in this vision — thank you.
To every guest who honoured the food, the philosophy, and the spirit of devotion — thank you.
You helped make this more than a café. You made it a sanctuary.

Service never ends. It simply expands.

We’ve been busy planting fruit trees, lovingly donated by one of our aspiring devotees.
Our permaculture project is underway — creating meaningful opportunities for Seva (service) and shared care for the land.

Just as we plant seeds in the soil, we plant seeds within the heart. ❤️

In Bhakti, growth is essential for the soul. With sincere practice, humble service, and nourishing association, those inner seeds gradually blossom into faith, steadiness, and love for the Divine.

As A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada taught:
“By watering the root of the tree, all the branches are automatically nourished.”

When we water the root through devotion, everything in life becomes harmonised.
