WEEK 6 | 24th Nov – 30th Nov

Week 6 brings a powerful blend of skill development, structured strength work, aerobic conditioning, and intelligent partner formats. As we move toward the back half of the block, the focus shifts to refining technique, improving efficiency, and elevating intensity without sacrificing form. Expect thoughtful progressions, clear work-to-rest ratios, and plenty of opportunities to learn, lift, and level up.

This week you’ll have:
• 2 x Cardio sessions
• 2 x Strength sessions
• 2 x Hybrid sessions

Extras:

🎧 Friday 5pm – Cardio HIIT 90’s Disco Class ft. DJ MOON
Dress up, go big, and bring the vibes! Best dressed wins a prize then stick around for drinks afterwards.

🏃‍♂️ Sunday Run Club – 7:00am, Newcastle Beach
A relaxed social run to build aerobic capacity and kickstart your Sunday in the best way.

⭐ 8-Week Challenge Mini Challenge – ATTENDANCE WEEK
This week, it’s all about showing up. The team with the highest attendance across the week takes the win. Attendance will be tracked using the stars on the Accountability Chart so make sure you check in, mark your star, and show up for your team. Every session counts!

Next Friday 28th November at 5pm we be having a special Cardio HIIT class!

WEEK 5 | 17th Nov – 23rd Nov

Week 5 delivers a diverse mix of conditioning, strength, balance, and hybrid work as we move deeper into the training block. Expect a strong emphasis on teamwork, structured working intervals, crisp technique, and intelligent pacing. With boxing, AMRAPs, partner formats, and supersets woven throughout the week, this is a perfect blend of skill, intensity, and consistency.

This week you’ll have:
• 2 x Cardio sessions
• 2 x Strength sessions
• 1 x Boxing session
• 1 x Hybrid session

Extra:
🏊‍♂️ Sunday Swim Club at Newcastle Baths — 7:00am
A great chance to build aerobic capacity, have a coffee afterwards, and ease into your Sunday with a refreshing dip.

Huge line up and Saucey boy is excited 😜

500 sessions
It wouldn’t be a 5am session without J-Lo yelling out encouragement, dribble or talking throughout talk times. One of the OGs, the great man has worked his ring off since the start. Always up for the chat, some banter and and laugh, J-Lo has achieved some huge achievements since training with us. We love his energy and look forward to 500 more!

250 sessions
The HUSS brings up his 250 with a whole lot of hardwork! He regularly shows up for himself and with his daughter. day in day out . The Hiss has made some massive lifestyle changes! In our last 8WC the great man absolutely nailed it, losing over 9kg and feeling happier and healthier than ever! Keep leading from the front mate 😤

100 sessions
Soph the silent assassin of the group, quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with showing some serious determination. She shows up on the reg in the 5am class rarely missing a session. We seen shown huge improvements in her strength and conditioning. We’re incredibly proud of her and the effort she always puts in 🩵

Heather raises the bat for her 100 milestone. A staple of the of our BFT Mayf crew, her attitude toward training, the coaches, and the community is exemplary. Always open to extra pushes and advice, Heather makes everyone feel welcome and is always grateful for her sessions. We look forward to seeing her strive through his next 100 sessions and keep smashing those goals 🫶

Phil is always the hardest worker in the room, never setting for anything then his absolute best. He sets high standards for himself and other around him. Phil has been an unreal addition to the BFT Mayf crew. He is in 6am everyday putting on an absolute clinic, whether it’s with a barbell in hand or strapping into a rower - you know you’re in for a good session if you’re his training partner. Our last 8WC winner there is not much he can’t do 😎

LEVEL UP// Alcohol

The silly season is fast approaching and for many this can mean a few too many “quiet ones” 😳

Swipe right to see the calorie content of common drinks. If you do choose to drink opting for a lighter alcohol option can help keep your health goals on track. For healthy adults the Australian alcohol guidelines recommend no more than 10 standard drinks a week and no more than 4 standard drinks at any one time.

Week 4 brings a strong mix of structure, skill, and conditioning as we continue to progress through the training block. You’ll see a balanced combination of strength-focused sessions early in the week, conditioning and hybrid work midweek, and a technical skill focus heading into the weekend. Expect structured working sets, team-based training, and plenty of opportunities to refine technique while building intensity across the week.

This week you’ll have:
