💚💛 PRELIM FINAL WEEKEND 💛💚

We’re off to Encounter Bay this weekend for another day of finals netball!

A little reminder for everyone heading along to support our teams — please help us look after the courts and surrounding areas:

🧹 Keep the courts clean – Please help us leave the courts clean and tidy.

🥤 Food & drinks – Please keep food and drinks out of the viewing area between the courts.

🍬 No chewing gum – Please leave the gum at home! It’s really difficult to remove when it’s left behind on the courts.

📣 Banners – We love seeing the green & gold around the courts! 💚💛 Just be mindful of where banners are hung so those standing outside the fence can still see the game.

💰 Finals gate prices
Adults – $7
Concession – $5
Under 18s – FREE

🐶 NO DOGS – Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at finals, so please leave the four-legged family members at home.

Congratulations to Tayla Deacon who will play and celebrate her 150th Junior Club Game this weekend at 9am. Tayla has played all her junior netball at Myponga and it has been a pleasure watching her improve her skills and understanding of the game over the years. Tayla takes to the court each and every week with absolute determination to get every ball whether its an intercept or a rebound and she is her teammates biggest supporter from GK as she is always cheering loudly. We wish you all the very best in your game this weekend Tayla 💚💛

This weekend Abby will take to the court in her 100th Senior Game.
Abby has the ability to play multiple positions but her home is at C where she utilises her knowledge and skill to direct play down the court and create space for her teammates. Her ability to be able to find a goalie under the ring with pinpoint accuracy is amazing. Congratulations on reaching this milestone Abs, we look forward to watching you rack up many more in the green and gold 💚💛

💚💛 GSNA JUNIOR PRESENTATIONS WRAP UP 💛💚

What a fantastic night celebrating some of our talented Pongy girls! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Ellie Rumball, who was crowned the 11 Div 3 Best & Fairest! 🏆 An amazing achievement after a fantastic season!

Congratulations also to Macey Hasan, who finished 3rd in the 11 Div 3 count – an incredible result for both of our girls! 👏

Another huge congratulations to Jasmine Carter, who took home the Inter 3 Best & Fairest! 🏆 Such a well-deserved achievement!

Well done to Lily Bongiorno, who finished 4th in the 13 Div 1 Best & Fairest count after a great season! 💚

We also want to congratulate our GSNA representatives, Tessa Humphrys, on her season with the 13 & Under Rep Team, and Mia Jones, on her season with the 15 & Under Rep Team. What a fantastic achievement to represent the association! 🌟

We are so proud of all these girls and the way they have represented Myponga throughout the season. 💚💛

What a great day of netball yesterday, with seven Pongy teams coming out fighting! 💚💛

Congratulations to Senior 3, 13 Div 1 and 11 Div 3 on their amazing wins! All three teams are heading through to the preliminary finals next week!

Well done to Senior 2, Senior 4 and Senior 7 on fantastic seasons. Although you didn’t get the win yesterday, you should all be incredibly proud of making it this far!

Good luck to Inter 3, who have another chance in next week’s preliminary final. Let’s go, Pongy! 💚💛

It’s time to get around our teams! We want to see the green and gold out in full force tomorrow, so grab your flags, your voices and your Pongy spirit and get down to Strath!

A few quick reminders from Strath to help everyone have a great day and look after the courts:

💚 Please help keep the courts clean — they double as tennis courts throughout the year.

💛 Please keep food and drinks out of the viewing area between the courts and leave the chewing gum at home!

💚 When hanging club banners, please be mindful of where they’re placed so spectators outside the fence can still see the games.

💛 Gate passes cannot be used for finals. Entry is $7 for adults, $5 concession and under 18s are FREE!

💚 NO DOGS are permitted at finals. 🐶🚫

Now for the important part… LET’S GET BEHIND OUR MYPONGA TEAMS! 💚💛
