🏁 Nationals wrap up 🏁

In what was the biggest weekend of the Micro Racing calendar, Hayden tackled the clay of Lake Liddell Speedbowl against some of the best juniors in Australia.

Friday and Saturday night were used to get Hayden comfortable and the car running right, after some early motor issues.
Sunday came with some more confidence to send it, and he did just that. In his first heat he lead the way from the drop of the green, until getting beat going into the last corner. Heat two Hayden held his own which gave him a 13th starting spot in the feature. Feature time came around and Hayden worked the whole race to bring home a strong 9th out of 21 cars.

Once again an awesome weekend spent with family and friends. A huge thanks to Mitch and the team of volunteers at Lake Liddell for a great meeting.

🏁 It’s Nationals Weekend 🏁

Weekend of highs

On Saturday, Hayden raced his junior at Western Sydney Speedway for the final time this season. He started the afternoon with a great win in the first heat, followed up by a third in the second heat.
This put him out of position two for the feature, where he got absolutely everything out of his little excel and had a great race with the second place car, eventually coming home in third.

Dubbo recap

Last weekend we hit the road for Round 3 of the NSW Outlaw Kart championship at Dubbo City Speedway Club. Both the boys were excited to get back to the track after finding success the last time we were there.

If we were going, we may as well make it busy and threw the junior sedan in for some more fun!

Hayden took the win home in the outlaw kart and Sam came home fifth. Hayden then jumped into the junior and was running a strong second in the feature until his clutch decided to end his run.

There is no rest for the team as Sean fixed the clutch and we travel the short distance to Western Sydney Speedway tomorrow for another run in the Junior Sedan.

Round 1 SWF NSW Outlaw Kart championship at Lake Liddell Speedbowl is run and won.

Hayden had a great meeting with a first and second in his heats and a second in the feature race.

Sam had a great start to the meeting with a close second place in the first heat, a chain falling off in the second and a motor issue in the feature- just wasn’t his day!
