🏁 ROUND 3 WIN 🏆 | Sydney Speedway Kart Club

What a day! 🔥

A huge result for JKD Motorsport, taking the Feature Win in Round 3 of the Sydney Club Championship.

The #88 had the confidence all day, putting together a strong run through the heats, with some ripping overtakes before bringing it home P1 in the feature. 💪

The #33 had the overall pace every time he hit the track, taking the first heat win, but ultimately bringing it home in P4 after some mistimed overtaking manoeuvres.

Race Recap | Sydney Speedway Kart Club 🏁

A great day at the track for JKD Motorsport, with both Jack and Kane Dunn showing strong pace from the first heat through to the feature.

The day started with Kane taking the win in Heat 1, before I (Jack) claimed victories in Heat 2 and Heat 3, putting us in a strong position heading into the feature.

The feature was shaping up to be a great race with myself out of P2 and Kane P3. I took the lead from the start but I had Wakka Motorsports breathing down my neck from the get go. Nathan had me pushing every lap, and after the race I joked with him saying I had my ass clenched the whole time he was behind me! 😂 Unfortunately, a mechanical issue brought his race to an early end. From there, I focused on hitting my marks and brought the kart home for the feature race win, while Kane put together another smooth drive to finish P2, securing a JKD Motorsport 1–2 finish. ⚡💥

A massive thank you to our family, sponsors, the club and everyone who continues to support us. It’s great to see all the hard work paying off, and weekends like this make all the effort behind the scenes worthwhile. We’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into the next round.
