🎉 National Volunteer Week – Celebrating Our HBC Legends! 🎉

As National Volunteer Week wraps up, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to the incredible people behind Helena Basketball Club 🏀💙

HBC is proudly a 100% volunteer-run club, and quite simply… we wouldn’t be here without your help.

From coaches, team managers, committee members, scorebench helpers and all the behind-the-scenes organisers — every single role matters.

Some of us might not love being front and centre on social media or showing our faces on camera 😅 but the work happening quietly in the background is what keeps this club running week after week.

Your time, energy, support and care help create opportunities for our players and families every single season, both on and off the court.

Without volunteers, there is no club. 💯

Congratulations to all teams for a great start to the basketball season. ⛹️‍♂️🏀👏

As a reminder, the first 3 weeks of the season are our grading games.

*** But what is grading? ***
👉 There are different divisions based on the skill levels of the players to ensure it is a fair and equitable competition for our players.

The first 3 weeks of the season are used for observation.

Then adjustments can be made for the divisions based on the abilities of teams across the divisions if required.

Please note the complete season fixtures are not available until after that time when grading and division allocations have been finalised.
