Spending hours in the gym to gain results isn’t the way to get more results..
Starting off in the gym I thought it would benefit me if I smashed out many sets to hit everything, increase volume and surely that’d make progress..
How wrong I was.
Focusing on a few simple steps made my gains twice as fast and in half the time spent working out.
1. Change sets and always work till failure or close to.
2. Get off phone during workouts and only use it for rest times. Be strict with this.
3. Try a pre-fatigue exercise before compound lifts to increase intensity without the need to add on sets, weight or other lengthy progressive overload strategies.
