Spending hours in the gym to gain results isn’t the way to get more results..

Starting off in the gym I thought it would benefit me if I smashed out many sets to hit everything, increase volume and surely that’d make progress..

How wrong I was.

Focusing on a few simple steps made my gains twice as fast and in half the time spent working out.

1. Change sets and always work till failure or close to.
2. Get off phone during workouts and only use it for rest times. Be strict with this.
3. Try a pre-fatigue exercise before compound lifts to increase intensity without the need to add on sets, weight or other lengthy progressive overload strategies.

You can spend hours in the gym and maybe you did more or maybe you did lose more calories. But did you actually put that work in to achieve your goals and could it be used better?

Maximising the intensity and mastering progressive overload is one of the main keys to achieving your desired goal.

And it can be done in less than you think 🤝🏼

🩵 Implement supersets, drop sets, circuits in your workout regime to increase intensity in less time.
🩵 Compound exercises will work whole body in a shorter time making it easier to get back to the day without putting a huge dent in time.

Common Training Mistakes Every Beginner Makes 👆🏼

When I first started there was lots of figuring out which to prioritise and how much I should be training to achieve my goals. Found myself only training prime muscles, training too hard and found myself not really getting the most out of every session!

Here’s three pitfalls to not step into when starting off!

Definitely wasn’t always perfect, never am, never will be, nobody is..

When I first started working 2 jobs, taking classes, studying and building a business I was stressed and highly unmotivated at times.

My performance dropped inside fitness and output and found myself feeling stressed also outside.

What it took was a major step back and back to basics

During a busy life, maintain a sleep schedule, eating the right foods, some meditation and knowing when to step away from pushing one hundred percent and taking time for myself; was actually my secret source.

Now building stronger than ever, less stressed, motivated and building the confidence and also body of my dreams. All whilst working harder in every area of life has proven when times do get tough, always take a breath and get down the basics.

Yard by yard is hard, inch by inch is a sinch 📈🩵
