🌈 Big News from Ripples! 🌈
We are incredibly excited to share that Miss Jenaya is now qualified through Autism Swim!
Did you know that children on the autism spectrum are significantly more likely to be involved in drowning incidents than their peers? We’re talking 160x more likely!
Water safety isn’t just important, it’s lifesaving.
At Ripples, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment where they feel understood, supported, and safe. Through Autism Swim training, Jenaya has gained specialised knowledge and strategies to better support neurodivergent children in aquatic environments, helping create positive, inclusive, and successful swimming experiences for every family.
In fact, studies have shown that many families of autistic children leave aquatic programs because their child’s individual needs aren’t being understood or accommodated. We’re committed to changing that.
This qualification is another step towards ensuring our lessons are inclusive, supportive, and focused on helping every child build confidence, independence, and essential water safety skills.
Because every child deserves the chance to create their own ripple effect.
