This is my dad on a recent visit to , testing out the .au R1.

For a bloke who has been riding motorcycles for over 55 years (yes, you read that right), his opinion carries a fair bit of weight.

Dad competed in the Mr Motocross Series back in the 80s and has always been a capable and fast rider. These days he owns a 2023 fuel-injected KTM 250SX, so he's no stranger to modern dirt bikes.

After jumping on the Rerode R1, he hopped off with a huge smile on his face. In fact, he loved the R1+ even more.

What stood out to him was how nimble and easy they were to throw around. Plenty of power, predictable handling, and without the fatigue that comes from wrestling a hard-hitting two-stroke all day.

The grin said it all.
