The 19km crew really said, “we’ll take the easy option”… and started with a bus ride 🚌😏

Nothing like being chauffeured to the start line - only to discover it was apparently uphill all the way back 😅⛰️

From comfy seats to dusty feet, these legends earned every step back to the finish.

A solid mix of runners, walkers, and everyone in between — all getting it done one way or another 👏

The power of running, the power of community, the power of the Indigenous Marathon Project🏃‍♀️💪

A great watch and truly inspiring. It was extra special to see Mount Isa’s own Rhys Munns taking part in the program and completing the New York Marathon.

Lance Franklin and Johnathan Thurston mentor 12 Indigenous Marathon Project runners, as they undergo a life changing six-month journey to complete in the New York City Marathon.
