Welcome Mareikura “KURA” Hills!🩷🖤⚔️

Fresh 18 and ready to experience the Mendi 9s! 😮‍💨🔥 Kura may be young, but she’s already had plenty of footy under her belt. She was playing U17s with the Townsville Blackhawks while still in Grade 10, has had a crack at representative Rugby Union and has mostly spent her time playing club footy. 🏉

Now she’s ready to step into the 9s arena and see what she can bring! We’re excited to have Kura pull on the Isa Warriors jersey ⚔️🩷🖤

We are happy to introduce our Women’s coach Elijah

Elijah currently plays for townies in Mount Isa, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the squad and we are so lucky to have him on board, he previously coached a basketball team to the NBA finals as seen in the photo. ⚔️🔵⚫️

Introducing our Vice President and Team Manager for the Men’s Mendi 9’s squad Steady HC ⚔️🔵⚫️

Lance will be managing the team after rupturing his ACL in Nines premier league last year, whilst rehabbing his knee he’s been managing the team, as of yesterday he kicked off training for mendi 9’s and is making sure the squad is in prime form for upcoming tournaments. 💪🏽

Some of our Isa Warriors switched things up tonight and jumped into a CrossFit session at CrossFit Rumble, and what a workout it was! 🔥

Big thank you to Dennis for taking the time to run us through an awesome session. Plenty of challenges, plenty of sweat, but the crew absolutely loved it! 💪🏽🏉
