TREBLE FOR ROBERT GORE

It was a great day at Tara Raceway yesterday for Robert and Linda Gore as the Warrnambool kennel led in three winners.
Moonlight Haze won her maiden defeating Bourne Munchkin by just over six lengths in 17.73.
Moonlight Grand was impressive coming from behind to defeat Cadillac Belle in race four clocking 17.66 giving Rob his second winner.
And then Jimmy The Rat led all the way to defeat Miss Chapo in 30.26.
Linda and Robert are pictured with Moonlight Grand after bringing up her 20th career win from 75 starts.

FOUR WINNERS FOR TRACIE PRICE

Rocklea Earle was at his best at Tara Raceway yesterday winning his heat of the greyhoundtips.com.au Mixed Series and at the same time giving trainer Tracie Price his fourth winner of the day.
Rocklea Earle defeated Head For Home and Lenny Limes in a best of day 22.89.
Billy Bust Up was too strong for Gus Limes in the other heat of the greyhoundtips.com.au series winning narrowly in 22.91.
Tracie’s other winners were Compton Baker (22.98), Compton Shelly (29.57 best of day) and Jetson (29.68)

Representatives from the Ryder-Cheshire Mount Gambier Home Foundation were trackside at Tara Raceway last week to accept a $1,000 donation from the Mount Gambier Greyhound Racing Club Tara Tipsters.
Foundation board members Matthew Dixon, Stuart Stansfield, Bernadette Douglas and Greg Clayfield were very appreciative to receive the donation.
Mount Gambier Greyhound Racing Club Tara Tipsters is a group of local greyhound enthusiasts who conduct a weekly charity-based tipping competition at Tara Raceway, Mount Gambier.
The Tracie Price trained Compton Shelly was the winner of the Tara Tipsters Stake.

She’s A Jumbo put in a huge run to win the Ferness @ Stud Mixed Series Final at Tara Raceway, Mount Gambier today.
After being last away She’s A Jumbo was too strong for tearaway leader Aston Deutz winning by 2 lengths in 29.86. Major Queen finished third.
Trainer Tim Richards is pictured receiving a voucher for a straw of Ferness by MGGRC Manager Tim Lewis. The straw was kindly donated by Ferness’s owner Ron Evans as part of the winning prize.
The MGGRC would like to thank Ron for his generosity.

The Tim Richards trained She’s A Jumbo looks set to start a short priced favourite in tomorrow’s Ferness @ Stud Mixed Final over 512m at Tara Raceway after a slashing 29.39 heat win.
Racing gets underway at 11.52am with full bar, canteen and TAB facilities available.

Wangoom trainer Jackson Bell had a nice day out at Tara Raceway today after Afterglow Girl won the second heat of the Ferness @ Stud Series.
Afterglow Girl defeated Aston Deutz by 3/4 length in 29.90.
Magic Tom finished third and Costly Habits qualified for the final next week by finishing fourth.
Jackson Bell also trained Naturally Girl who finished third in the first heat.
It was Afterglow Girl’s third win from only 15 starts.

The Tim Richards trained She’s A Jumbo was a very impressive winner in the first heat of the Ferness @ Stud Series at Tara Raceway today.
The daughter of Bernardo x Rhonda Lily led all the way to defeat Major Queen by just under nine lengths in a quick 29.39.
Naturally Girl finished third and Our Girl Selkie also qualified for the final after finishing fourth.
It was She’s A Jumbo’s 11th win from 40 career starts.
