Beginner Advice — From Lloyd

When you’re new, it’s easy to feel like you need to do everything at once, match what everyone else is lifting, or look like you’ve got it all together from day one.

Lloyd’s here to cut through the noise with the reminders he wishes he knew earlier 👇🏼

1️⃣ Don’t do too much at once.
Building yourself takes time. Rushing only burns you out. Give yourself permission to grow at a steady pace.

2️⃣ Be here for you, not anyone else.
Your training only works when it’s built around your goals, your body and your life. You don’t need to train for anyone’s approval.

3️⃣ Stay consistent and stick to the plan.
Progress shows up when you do. Small efforts, repeated often, will always beat one big heroic workout.

4️⃣ No one is judging you. Everyone is on their own path.
Most people are focused on their own training, not picking apart yours. You’re safer here than your brain tells you.

5️⃣ Stop comparing yourself to others.
Comparison steals the joy out of your progress. Your day one will never look like someone’s year five and it doesn’t need to.

These are the lessons that make training feel calmer and more sustainable.
They bring you back to your own lane, your own pace, your own progress.

Start where you are.
Grow in your time.
And remember, you belong here, whether you’re lifting the bar or lifting the whole room. 😉
