A tough night for our Senior Women, going down 4-0 to Flinders United in their Round 1 catch-up fixture.

With the long weekend ahead, all senior and junior teams will enjoy a well-earned break!

A few weeks ago, our club came together to raise funds and awareness for Stillbirth. The incredible support shown by our community highlighted what can be achieved when we unite behind causes that matter.

Now, we’re turning our focus to another cause that touches so many lives: mental health.

We’re proud to be supporting Beyond Blue through the Mental Health Match campaign, helping raise awareness and vital funds for mental health support across Australia. We’ll be taking part in the SAASL Mental Health Round on June 20th, where our men’s teams will play away at Aldinga and Murray Bridge.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and no one should have to face their challenges alone. If you’re able to, please consider making a donation through our fundraising page. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a real difference.

ROUND 8 RESULTS 💚🖤

Our Reserve Women battled hard against Adelaide Jaguars but unfortunately couldn’t find the win this weekend. Meanwhile, our C-Grade Women secured a fantastic 2–1 victory over Woodside Warriors, and we absolutely loved seeing it! Well done girls! 🔥

🏆 Cup Round-Up!

We had three cup fixtures across the weekend, with plenty of action and some fantastic results!

Saturday saw our Senior Men take on Greenacres United at home in cold and rainy conditions. Unfortunately, they bow out of the cup after a 5–1 loss against a strong opposition. Well done to the boys for their efforts throughout the campaign.

On Sunday, our C-Grade Men kicked off the day with a stellar 4–3 victory over Munno Para City, securing their place in the next round of the cup 👏

We then returned to Anembo Park for our Senior Women’s cup clash against local Division 2 side Mount Barker United. In a nail-biting contest that went all the way to extra time, the girls dug deep and came away with a 2–1 win! We’re excited to get behind the team as they head into the semi-final in a few weeks’ time.

Congratulations to our C-Grade Men and Senior Women on progressing to the next round of their respective cups, and well done to our Senior Men on their efforts.
