Interested in becoming an umpire or just want to brush up on the rules?

Hills Softball Association is holding an Umpire Course open to beginners, those looking for a refresher, or anyone wanting to gain their Level 1 Umpire Certification.

Sunday 13th September
9am–3pm
Lunch provided

Between completing the online component, attending the training day and being observed umpiring a few games, you can become a certified Level 1 Umpire.

It’s a great opportunity to get qualified in time for the Junior Championships and be ready for the 2026/27 season.

Come along to Anembo Park for a fun afternoon of softball with Hills Softball.

Whether you’re brand new to the game, returning after some time away, or already part of our softball community, everyone is welcome.

There’ll be plenty of fun and learning, finishing off with a home run derby under the lights and an early BBQ.

Welcoming new and returning players to come out and learn or refresh their skills ahead of the new season on Saturday 22nd of August. There will be juniors' and seniors' coaches on hand for some skills work ahead of a social scratch match before finishing with a fun home run derby under lights and an early BBQ dinner
