Yesterday we held our first grading for the year, and welcomed another blue belt into the fold💙 a huge congratulations to Bill, who was levelled up yesterday. A great guy, student and reading partner, who gave a great account of himself during his shark tank. The difference between a good and bad spot can often come down to your own knowledge and understanding of the position. The last few weeks of Mike’s 6am no gi have centered around the elbow prop and various applications of it. When used right it can help get you out of some bad spots. But as with everything else in jiu jitsu, it’s not a superpower. There’s always an answer to the question. Never stop chasing those answers
