Junior indoor cricket at Action Indoor Sports Modbury gives kids more than a game night.

It builds focus under pressure, sharpens reflexes, grows confidence, teaches them to back themselves and it does it all in a team environment where showing up matters.

The skills they pick up on that court follow them into the classroom, onto other fields and into everyday life and we're here for every bit of it.

The ladder might tell you where you stand it just doesn't capture the half of it.

The sledging. The celebrations that are absolutely way too over the top and that one teammate who never shuts up but you wouldn't have it any other way.

The post-game debrief that somehow turns into two hours at the bar. Three missed calls from the missus. A voice note that just says "seriously??"

Some nights you walk off the court on top of the world. Other nights, that's what the beer is for.

Wherever you sit this season, the laughs are the same. The mateship is the same and yeah, if you need a hug, we ain't here to judge.
