U15 WORLD CUP // A huge congratulations to Seb Watts, who was announced in the Australia 2026 U15 Baseball World Cup Roster! 🤩

The WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup will now be held in Mérida, Mexico from September 25 to October 4. Before heading to Mexico, the team will take part in a five-day training camp in the United States as part of final preparations for the tournament.

Australia will compete against some of the world’s top baseball nations at the event, including World No. 1 Japan, No. 2 Chinese Taipei, No. 3 USA, No. 5 Venezuela and host nation Mexico, ranked No. 6 in the world.

This is an incredible achievement and a testament to Seb’s hard work and dedication to the sport. We are extremely proud of him and can’t wait to see him represent Australia on the world stage.

PLAYER NEWS // We wish Ky Hampton all the best as he begins his career with the Down East Bird Dawgs in the Frontier League this week.

He has also just signed a two-year extension with the Adelaide Giants – How good! 😎 Congrats Ky!👏👏

Maybe it's all about the people you do it with ❤️

Fresh off signing a two-year contract with the Giants, and pre-season with the Down East Bird Dawgs, Ky Hampton spoke with AdelaideGiants.com.au from North Carolina about 'why'.

While he's close with all his teammates, he spoke about Todd Van Steensel and pitching coach Josh Tols.

“Tolsy has been great for me,” Hampton said. “We speak quite often about lots of things. He’s been a big reason for my development and is always there to help. He’ll tell you how it is and then make a plan to attack it.”

“Before the WBC and before coming over to North Carolina I was going into West Beach almost every day to work with him,” adds Hampton. “And Todd is one of my best mates now. He’s played everywhere and in almost every league. Anytime I have a question he’s there. He’s also the reason I signed with Down East. He played with the manager and stayed in touch. Both those guys have been huge for me.”

We love Ky!

And we're pumped he's staying.
