⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR NEW PLAYERS:
Players who did not play during the Winter comp will need to wait until 17 September to register under the 3-month membership.

🌸 SPRING COMP DETAILS
💰 Fee: $50
📆 Season: 15 October – 10 December 2026
⏱️ Games: 4 x 12-minute quarters
🏐 Block teams only

👧 JUNIOR COMP
- Ages 5–17 years
- Mixed teams welcome
- Thursdays from 4:30pm

👩 SENIOR COMP
- Ages 16+
- Mixed teams welcome
- Thursday nights from 7:00pm
- Maximum 3 males on court at one time

📣 A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
🏐 Teams must provide their own umpire and cover the umpire's payment.
🎒 The club is happy to provide your team with a kit bag.
👚 Club uniforms are not compulsory, but players must wear the same coloured shirts.

Today we officially renamed the Bellingara netball complex in honour of Margaret Corbett.

Margaret was a stalwart of the game, both here in the Shire and at a national and global level.

It was fantastic to be joined by so many of Margaret’s children and family to celebrate her legacy, along with the broader Netball family including the Miranda Magpies Netball, Sutherland Shire Netball Association, and Netball NSW.

The decision to rename public spaces is not one that is taken lightly but I couldn’t think of someone more deserving - a woman who dedicated so much of her life to the sport and our community.

We were honoured to see the Bellingara Netball Courts officially renamed the Margaret Corbett Netball Complex, recognising the incredible legacy of the late Margaret Corbett OAM, one of Australia’s most influential netball leaders and a much loved and valued part of the Miranda Magpies community.

Margaret’s contribution to netball has left an enduring mark, and it was wonderful to see her legacy celebrated in such a meaningful way.

It was also fantastic to see some of our current and past Miranda Magpies Committee members, players and community members come together for the unveiling and to celebrate Margaret’s remarkable contribution to our sport.

A truly special recognition for an extraordinary netball leader 🏐

Margaret’s lifelong dedication and immense contribution to both our club, Sutherland Shire Netball and Netball NSW have left an unforgettable legacy.

We would love to see a sea of Miranda Magpies faces in attendance to show our appreciation and support 🖤🤍🖤
