Introducing SS26: Block Party.

This season, we designed an edit of shoes inspired by the unexpected palette on our city’s streets.

Cafes and restaurants decorated and drenched in a series of primary colours, beach boxes sidled up next to each other creating their own rainbow, laneways covered in street art & bursting with expression and stacked fruit crates at markets spilling out onto the footpath. Everywhere you look it’s a block party of colour.

Our SS26 collection, Block Party, is anchored by bold primary colours, for wherever summer takes you.

“I was drawing from a young age. Mum was a painter, Grandma was a painter, so I think that love was always there, even though Dad’s side are all tradies. I just loved the pencil, the paintbrush, creating things.”

We sat down with Melbourne 2D artist Sam Knight to chat about where his love of character design began and how he brought Fire, Aether and Earth (the three characters representing Kumo’s energy) to life for Rollie’s About the Energy campaign.

As part of our Kumo sneaker launch, About The Energy, we sat down with Aoife Kavanagh, an Irish-born, Melbourne-based yoga teacher to talk about her connection with Mother Earth, community and following the breadcrumbs of life.

“Yoga has this beautiful ripple effect: you think it’s just a 60-minute class, but you take that into traffic, into how you move around the world and interact with people. It’s super important. Everyone needs to do it.
Breath is the easiest way to access the depth of presence. Even now if I asked you ’can you hear your breath? Can you feel your breath?’ just hurls you into your body’s experience of now.”
