Counting down to seeing the MCG at full capacity for this massive event.

The first-ever regular-season NFL game held in Australia, and the Centura is at the world stage yet again.

The Centura is already installed in some of the best stadiums worldwide, a few NFL venues among them. We might be a little biased here, but we reckon this is the best seat the NFL has had yet — plus the corporate boxes we've been fitting out here, of course.

We're excited for this one as a team here, the MCG is always a favourite of ours.

Quite often you'll find us talking about durability, comfort and customisation of our products. This time round, we also want to highlight the flexibility — and what our retractable systems make possible.

Built to a three-court design, this lets more classes enjoy the space, more often. Whilst the systems are retracted to the wall, taking up minimal space, you can run basketball on one court, indoor soccer on another and badminton in the centre — it's ready for all of it. Really bringing meaning to a multi-purpose space.

Or, when gameday comes around, the double bay grandstand can come out at the click of a button, ready for a crowd. It's great watching a space go from three courts to a grandstand ready for a full house in a matter of minutes — and back again just as easily.

Introducing the new Crest Education Arena.⁠
A new standard, from the ground up.⁠

For this project, we started with the floor — premium-grade maple, engineered to NBL standards and laid to play at the level the game asks for.⁠
⁠
Above it sit two retractable seating banks with an easy fold-away system, brought in and out by remote. Together they hold a capacity of 2,084 — rolled out for game day, then handed back to reveal the full three-court floor for training, assemblies, and everything else a school stadium is called on to do.⁠

Every seat was placed by design. A seat-by-seat set-out mapped to the room, custom colours matched to the school's own, and padded Centura seats built for the long haul — as comfortable in the opening minute as at the final buzzer.⁠

LED walkway lighting threads the tiers to set the atmosphere, with carpeted platforms as the final touch on each system.⁠

Every line of the brief, answered in full — the kind of detail that shows exactly why Crest Education continue to set the pace. The result is more than a stadium. It's a home court, an assembly hall, a stage, and a signal of where the school is headed — a new standard for education across Australia.⁠

1,600 seats. Four days. No structural rebuild.

Our first major New Zealand installation is complete — the Due Drop Events Centre in Auckland, fitted out with new Centura CT302 Falcon chairs by local partner Seating Solutions Ltd.

What makes it stand out is how it was done. The venue's original bracket and rail structure, installed back in the early 2000s, stayed exactly where it was. The CT302 Falcon is designed to fit straight onto it — so 1,600 end-of-life seats were swapped for new ones, seat for seat, in just four working days.

The result: up to 70% less installation time versus a full replacement, with far less cost, labour and disruption to the venue. Stage two lands in 2027, with another 1,000 seats to follow.

Captured in Clyde mid-installation for Crest Education, Dale is at the forefront of each installation we do.⁠

Whether it's a school, a stadium, a lecture theatre or a corporate box, Dale is one of our key team members making sure every seat goes in straight, level and to spec — no matter how big the job or how tight the timeframe.

Away from the tools, you'll find him at Lancefield Football and Netball Club most weekends — an ex-player who still attends for the love of the club and the community. Oh, and a proud Collingwood supporter.
We don't hold it against him though.

On-site or on the sideline, Dale gives everything he's got. The kind of person you want leading every installation. We're glad he's on our team.

A little behind the scenes for you.

Our team is currently onsite at Ballarat installing 5,000+ Centura CT300 seats into the new grandstand. It's a big one, and there's still a bit to go before it's fully handed over — but we thought some in-progress shots would give a proper feel for the scale of the job and what goes into a fit-out of this size.
