Last Saturday, it was a real pleasure and privilege to share movements with the attendees of sallywilcoxyoga’s retreat.

Thank you all for your openness and willingness to experience something different — and the fabulous view from Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club was unbeatable.

A couple of shared reflections from the day that stayed with me:

💬 “Found the connection between the ribs and the jaw fascinating — and it was amazing how relaxed I kept feeling.”

💬 “When I thought I was already relaxed, I kept releasing more and more.”

This is exactly what the practice offers: not forcing anything, just noticing how much ease is available once you stop holding on.

A mentor once told me: you teach what you need to learn.

That's never felt truer than facilitating the last three Reconnect Circles — moving through my own grief storm, alongside all of you moving through yours.

This month's newsletter: what July's theme on uncertainty taught me, a free jaw-release gift, and what's next for the circle (plus two retreats before I pause in-person multi days retreats in 2027).

This isn’t just a retreat. It’s an invitation to come home to yourself.

🌿Nourishing meals
🌿The healing embrace of nature
🌿A community of kind souls
🌿Luxurious ensuite rooms in a peaceful setting
🌿Over 15 years of my experience holding space for your journey

This is for you if you’re craving to pause, to listen deeply, or to simply remember who you are beneath all the doing.

No yoga experience needed. Just bring yourself and a willingness to rest with care.

💌 Newsletter Out: Finding Beauty in Grief 🌿
I share some personal reflections on navigating loss — the importance of creating space, being gentle and even allowing breaks along the way.

Grief is never easy but there can also be courage, community, and surprising moments of gratitude. ✨

If this speaks to you, I’d love for you to read along — and there’s also a gentle invitation to my Rest with Care retreat this November.
