It’s full of character, with polished floorboards, exposed brick walls and infrared heaters overhead. A fireplace in the corner makes the space cosy in the cooler months, limberin

g the body and preparing it for deep relaxation. A diverse schedule caters for all abilities and preferences, including Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Kundalini, Slow Flow, Gentle Yoga and Mat Pilates. There’s an ever-evolving array of workshops and events on offer, from yoga teaching training to sound baths and reiki courses. Susan also hires out the space as a functional venue for practitioners to run their own classes and retreats

For one night, we’re transforming the Shala into an intimate live music space where Sam & Scout will share ‘cascade’, along with songs and stories from their upcoming debut album ‘Painted Lines’.

🙏✨ KIRTAN FOR A CAUSE — NEPAL FLOODS APPEAL

Join us for a joyful and heartfelt evening of kirtan with Uma and Krishna as we come together to support those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

Kirtan is a beautiful practice of call-and-response chanting and an expression of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of love and devotion. Through music, mantra and singing together, we can quieten the mind, open the heart and experience a powerful sense of connection and community.

No previous experience is needed, and you don’t need to consider yourself a singer! Simply come as you are, raise your voice and allow yourself to be carried by the music and collective energy in the room.

💛 100% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the Prime Minister of Nepal’s Floods Appeal

A little glimpse of our beautiful Coastal Retreat Day with James Bahuth 🌊

What a day! It was such an honour and privilege to spend the day learning, moving and laughing with James Bahuth, one of Australia’s most senior and respected Iyengar Yoga teachers.

There is something incredibly special about having the opportunity to learn from a teacher with James’ depth of knowledge and experience — and while there was plenty of focus, precision and learning throughout the day, there was also a whole lot of fun!

A very special thank you to our beloved Nik Hills for supporting James throughout the retreat. Nik has trained under James for more than 10 years, and it was beautiful to have them teaching alongside each other and sharing their passion for Iyengar Yoga with our community.

And a big shout-out to our great mates St Andrews Kitchen for keeping everyone very well nourished with an absolutely delicious lunch and afternoon chai. 🙏

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
And the good news… we’re already planning our next Retreat Day with James! 👀
