✨ Coming to Dancescape these school holidays! ✨

We’re excited to be partnering with the Australian Musical Theatre Academy for their Children’s Audition Preparation Workshop – focusing on Matilda - in Melbourne on Saturday 26th September! 💜

Hosted right here at Dancescape, this full-day workshop is designed for young performers aged 7–17 and is a fantastic opportunity to develop audition skills, explore the professional musical theatre audition process and learn from experienced industry educators.

Whether your performer dreams of the professional stage or simply wants to build confidence and learn more about musical theatre auditions, this is a wonderful opportunity to spend a day immersed in the world of professional performance. ✨

Dancescape represent - Logan @ Disney!

We missed this guy being on stage at our latest Evolution show because he was busy being a superstar in Florida!

After taking tap class whilst on a holiday (as you do) earlier this year, Logan received a scholarship for the Tampa Bay Tap Festival!

These are just some of the highlights::
* Masterclasses with Ashlyn Bolton, Aaron Tolson, Derick Grant, Luke Hickey, Anthony Morigerato, Leah Silva, Christina Carminucci
* Mentor sessions
* Performance of 4 x pieces at the amazing Straz Centre
* Rehearsal at the Imaginations Campus and performance at Disney Springs
* Performance in music video directed and choreographed by Leah Silva
* Photoshoot
* Social events

After taking one of the masterclasses, Logan was also offered a scholarship towards the incredible tap program in Barcelona! ✨

No sooner was Logan back in Australia, then he was back at the studio supporting his Evolution classmates in rehearsal and helping out behind the scenes at the show 🫶

You work so hard Logan and deserve every opportunity that comes your way. We are all so proud of you! 💜

📖✨ And just like that... another chapter comes to a close.
What an unforgettable night.

𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 began as a fun sequel but evolved into so much more. It became a story about creativity, collaboration, resilience, and appreciating that neither light nor shadow is enough on its own.

To our incredible Evolution students - thank you.
Thank you for embracing every challenge, every rewrite, every rehearsal, every late-night note, and every new idea. Thank you for trusting me with this journey and for bringing these characters to life with such heart, courage and joy.
The growth we’ve witnessed in each of you has been extraordinary - not just as performers, but as young people. We couldn’t be prouder.

To our wonderful Evolution families, thank you for every extra rehearsal, every car trip, every encouraging word and every way you’ve supported these young performers. We simply couldn’t do this without you.

To our beautiful Purple Family and everyone who filled the theatre with laughter, applause and so much love - thank you for celebrating these students so wholeheartedly.

To our incredible theatre team, backstage crew, and Dancescape team - thank you for helping turn an idea on paper into a world that came alive on stage.

The curtain has closed. The final page has turned.

Every rehearsal adds another line to the story.
These clips are from earlier rehearsals, and we were already so proud of how far these performers have come. The growth, commitment and creativity they’ve brought to 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 has been something special to watch.
Then the costumes arrived.
And suddenly the pages came to life.
We’re keeping that footage under wraps for now (some magic is best saved for the stage 😉), but trust us when we say this story is ready to be told.
