Haven’t posted in a while…I perhaps naively thought that now we’re approaching our 4th year in the shop things may start to settle into a good rhythm and I’d get around to posting more regularly 🫠🫠🫠
Anyhoo, at least there’s been time for me to book a movie night for us all, only to find out when we arrived that I told everyone the wrong night…so we went to drinks instead 🫠🫠🫠

I’d say 4 years in we’re killing it with this lot of cuties 🫶

🚐WEEKEND DELIVERY DRIVER POSITION🚐

Are you someone who loves early mornings, some heavy lifting and getting to places on time???

Our weekend delivery driver shifts leave from Coburg North ~
Saturday 3.30am-7.30am
Sunday 4am-7.30am

The role includes working alongside our bakers to pack orders and then the van prior to delivery departure.
Must have experience driving a van and a valid Victorian drivers license, hospitality background preferred but not essential.

A little update from us to our wonderful community…

Since opening our doors, we’ve done everything we can to keep our prices steady while never compromising on what matters most to us: quality, sustainability, and our people.

The time has come for us to make our very first store wide price increase.
This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. It’s one we’ve made so we can continue baking the way we believe is right—using exceptional ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, supporting the farmers and producers we trust, and maintaining the hand made practices that are at the heart of everything we do.
It also means we can continue to fairly recognise and remunerate our incredible team. We fully support the recent minimum wage increase and Payday Super reforms, and believe the talented people who make our bakery what it is deserve to be paid fairly for their dedication, skill, and hard work.

We know that every dollar matters, and we’re deeply grateful that you choose to support our independent bakery. Your support allows us to keep doing what we love: making honest, handcrafted bread and pastries for our community.

👩‍🍳KITCHEN HAND/BAKERY ASSISTANT👩‍🍳

We are looking for a reliable & motivated kitchen hand/bakery assistant to join our team in a full time role
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in both bread making and pastry production and be eager to learn and develop their skills in a bakery environment

Requirements:
~Previous hospitality experience
~Bakery experience is preferred
~Strong work ethic and keenness to learn new skills
~Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
~Availability to start shifts between 5am-8am
~Availability for some weekend work

☕️ WE’RE HIRING A BARISTA/FOH ALL ROUNDER 4 days per week approx 25hrs☕️

~The Role~
As a casual barista / FOH / All-rounder, you’ll be part of the day-to-day buzz of the bakery, helping create a warm, fast-paced, and welcoming experience for every customer.
You’ll:

• Deliver great customer service
• Pour great coffee, keep things flowing, and stay cool during the rush
• Keep the space looking great: clean counters, stocked displays, and an inviting front-of-house
• Handle POS transactions and support with restocking and product availability
• Jump in wherever needed – helping the team during busy periods
• Represent our brand with genuine enthusiasm for quality products and local ingredients

• Loves café/bakery culture
• Has a naturally warm, friendly vibe with customers
• Can keep up in a fast-paced environment (weekends + early starts included)

We’re back, after a couple of days off post Easter

Thank you all for your Easter pre orders, lining up for buns and bread and just generally being a beautiful community to serve 🫶

It’s been a huge few days so we’re closing up shop to give the team a rest…see you back on Tuesday 7th April :)

Pre orders have now closed but we will have plenty of all the buns in store for the next two days!
If you have a pre order and don’t want anything else from the bakery, you can collect from the side door.

Otherwise it’s business as usual at the bakery until Sunday when we close for 2 days then reopen on Tuesday 7th April at 7.30am

Of course to avoid disappointment the earlier you can make it down to the bakery the better!
