Perth Food Trucks Community, Maylands Summer Nights

The Perth Pirates will be joining the Perth Food Trucks Community’s (PFT) Maylands Summer Nights at Bardon Park, 20 4th Ave, Maylands on Tuesday 16th December 2025 and 13th January 2026, as part of our current recruitment drive. We will take the sport of dragon boating to the Summer Nights patrons through holding a pop-up information booth, paddling to Bardon Park to demonstrate the sport and providing locals with the opportunity to join us on the water. It would be great to see a big turn out of anyone who has ever considered Dragon Boating!

MAYLANDS SUMMER NIGHTS

Join us in the heart of Maylands for a fun-filled evening of delicious eats, live music, and community vibes – right in the middle of the neighbourhoods, next to a playground!

Expecting:
A rotating lineup of Perth’s best food trucks & desserts
Live entertainment to bring the atmosphere
Free face painting for the kids & adults
Lawn games
Family-friendly event with plenty of space to relax and connect
A perfect local spot for residents to walk over, picnic, and enjoy a night out together

When: Fortnightly Tuesdays (start 18 Nov 2025 – 24 March 2026)
Time: 4.30 PM – 8 PM
Where: Bardon Park, Maylands

Bring your picnic blankets, invite your neighbours, come hungry and leave happyyyy!!

We couldn't be any prouder of our very own Aurora, Stuart Clarke.
Stuart has been selected for the Australian team to compete at the
IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Brandenburg, Germany next June.

We had 7 club members representating WA at the Nationals this year, now one to represent Australia.

Perth Pirates Dragon Boat Club at Champion Lakes for the second Regatta of the season. Our amazing Opens 10s crew were power houses in the 200m races.

Day 2 at the Chung Wah festival. The wind was a bit kinder to us today. We all did the club proud and made new friends along the way.

Today the Perth Pirates participated in the Chung Wah festival on the Swan River with many other local clubs along with 4 international clubs from China and South East Asia.
Tomorrow, we head back for lots more fun and challenging races along the Burswood shore.
